Bench was easy to put together, it is a sturdy bench. Top is a laminate pressed wood. I will probably cover it with a chunk of rubber. Should of been priced lower. Added cabinet to go underneath and really gave the bench some weight.

Went together smooth as silk; not sure if I was lucky, or the other reviewers were unlucky with part fitment. No adjustments needed whatsoever. Very solid workbench for the garage and a nice height for both sitting and standing work. I'm withholding the 5th star because there seem to be no Craftsman backboards that fit. There's a 5' and an 8', but no 6'? Really?

I have enjoyed the irony in that people have found this workbench diffucult to assmeble. If this was hard for you to assemble then likely you will not be using this product for much building. I was able to put this item together by myself with the additional 5 drawers. It was time consming but not hard if you read the instructions. The workbench is solid and well constructed I am pleased with it so far. It turned out exactly as I expected and exactly as I saw it in the store.

FUNNY, IT TOOK TWO TIMES AROUND TYING TO MEASURE THE TOP TO FRAME AND MY MEASUREMENTS DIDN'T LINE UP. THE TOP IS 2 FEET ON ONE END. AND 3/8 INCHES SMALLER ON THE OTHER END.......COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.....AND IM A CRAFTSMAN MAN........NO GOOD FOLKS.....
