I wouldn't buy this product ever again. We only owned the product for 2 weeks and then it started to break apart. We asked Sears to replace the product because we had bought it thinking that it was a Craftsman and Sears stood behind their Craftsman products, but unfortunately they do not stand behind their brand. This bagger is a piece of junk.

This works fine for leaves in the fall but moist grass gets clogged and won,t fill the bin.

Very happy with hard bins. Easy to use and clean. I am a 60 yr. old woman and love everything about this product from assemble to ease of use!

I have owned craftsman tractors in the past. And the flaws I see on this bagger is the shoot design you need to have the clear plactic windows on either side of the shoot and a handle and heavy duty rubber straps to hold it togther. I have purchased the new 2012 LT-1500 and will be adapting a John Deer bagger to the unit. Talk to your customers before you redesign.

This is the greatest attachment for a tractor ever. I have owned one on my 42 inch 15.5hp tractor for 10 years now. It's great for picking up grass clipping, durable, and with the secret you can pick up a yard full of leaves The secret is this: Take one of the bins off, and put the bottom part away. Get a 45 gallon drum liner bag and put it in the top part, using it as a "frame" to hold the bag. Drape the edges of the bag over the edge of the frame. Then put that in the left side (looking from rear) and put the other bin on the right side. Then mow. You will fill a 45 gallon bag of mulched leaves. When full pop it off and put another bag on. Repeat..... So there you go. Enjoy!

We only used it once, but will be using it more next year, to help with the cumbersome amount of leaves we have to do each year. We feel this will be a big help instead of raking time and time again.

I got this for my birthday and it has saved my back. All the leaves have fallen and I look forward to jumping on my tracktor and sucking them up with my new bagger. My only complaint would be that my yard is too big.

I had installed this bagger on a friend's LT2000 tractor about 5 years ago and had similar issues as other reviewers with the "gap" between the lower pipe assembly and the mowing deck - that is, it just didn't fit right. Despite that, I recently purchased (Sept. 2012) the bagger for my LT2000 tractor and low and behold, the lower pipe matched the mowing deck perfectly (i.e. no gaps). They've even devised a support plate that holds the lower pipe assembly in place. I've used the bagger twice so far and it works great picking up late season grass clippings and fallen leaves, mulching them up into compostable material. As others have noted, I suggest that you run your mower at the highest throttle for best results.

I put this bagger on an older craftsman DLT 2000. First I made sure it would fit. I took the bagger number that was under the tractor hood and cross referenced it to this bagger. Assembly was easy, 15 min tops. Didn't even have to bolt anything on except for the extra support plate on the discharge chute. Couldn't wait to try it so I cut some damp grass with some leaves, no problems, never clogged and I don't have bagging blades on it yet. It does tend to fill the left bin first, but overflows into the right, think this occurs because the bins are mounted off center on the back of the tractor. By trimming off a little of the discharge chute in the bin might even out the filling of the bins.
