Very, very happy
I didn't put 5 stars just because not being a vacuum bagging system it still takes a bit of work and understanding in order to have it working right but frankly this thing is great. I bought a brand new tractor at the sears outlets the DYS 4500 24HP from last year for just $1199, after using half day with satisfaction I realized that a bagging system was indispensable. I assembled it in 5 minutes and I found out that in order to have the maximum functionality you need to keep the blades system high. This way more air will flow-in and this will have greatly in order to avoid congestion in the tube. Yes the left bag fill first but once it is fool the second bag fills so don't need to worry about that. If the air flow is good the tubes will not get grass stuck in it. Mine attached PERFECTLY to my tractor, it is really tight. People complaining about this either have an older tractor or didn't do the right installation. When I was keeping the blades mid level I had to disassemble the tubes frequently but no no more. Grass is still short, actually looks better, I was cutting too short. In my opinion you have to have this. Your tractor will not be complete without this. I was able to pick up fresh grass as well as the grass that has been under the sun from yesterday cut. I forgot. I do have 5 acres and I cut about two with my tractor. Naturally 2 bags can be filled relatively quick but it is nothing compared to the work we had to do before.

Very Disappointed
51 yr old, 5 ft petite woman... It was suprising very easy to install. Easy stopped there! Twnety feet of mowing and I was covered with dust and grass. At first, thought I didn't have it installed correctly. Discovered debris was blowing through mesh bags. Putting trash bags inside mesh bags solved the debris problem. 3 minutes of mowing and the orange "bag full" indicator stopped spinning. Opened the lid and the left bag was full but the right bag barely had anything in it. Emptied the bags and started up again. Oops ... the chute was clogged up. Had a pile of grass clippings by the time I mannually cleaned out the chute. Another 3 minutes, another full left bag and clogged chute. After 20 minutes and dumping 4 times, called it quits (exhauting work in 100 degree temps) Will try making some adjustments next time to get clippings to fill both bags. If I can't get it to fill both bags before clogging, will pack it up and get my money back.

6 Bushel 2-Bin Soft Bagger for Lawn Tractors

I put 7.5 hours on this the first time i used it, works great in my two small yards , and turned my pecan orchard into a clean cut field! THE GOOD > - easy to assemble out of the box and install/remove from the unit - holds a ton - makes picking up leaves quick work even when wet - dumps easy THE BAD > - pending your yard type it can be dusty when moving slowly!!! all in all works like a CHAMP !

I would recommend this product to a friend.

They have held up well

I have tried to make sure that these bins are emptied and dry out before they are stored so they do not rot. So far - so good. No problems and they are nice and light to carry. Only problem is that the chute clogs really easily if the grass is moist or over 2 inches tall. I have to disconnect it every 2 minutes which makes the mowing take forever. Sometimes I cannot always choose a day when the grass is bone dry even though I try. Also I wish there was a way to know the chute was blocked without having to continuously watch the little wheel on the side. When it stops, it is blocked or full. For the money it compares well with the competition.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Works as expected

As with most baggers, after full, you do have to remove the chute and unclog. Left bag fills first, and then the right. Overall it works well and is easy to dump. In retrospect I should have purchased the 3 bag model for 42" decks.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Why'd I wait a year to get this?

My original intent was to mulch as much as possible so I got a pull behind sweeper for the fall leaves in lue of a bagger. My mower does a decent job at mulching and the Craftsman sweeper does a fine job sweeping... but the mower with the bagger does an impeccable job when the grass is caught rather than mulched. The unit is easy to put on. The bags are sized so they are not too heavy when full. Surprisingly, it didn't take up that much more room in the garage when left mounted.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

One-plus acre

Bought this bagger because my age no longer allowed me to rake and gather leaves manually for shredding. Vacuum does an excellent job except for one thing: the twin bags fill up much too fast. Wish there would be another way to pick-up more leaves without the constant emptying of the bags. Otherwise - excellent for my use.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
