Product Description

6 Gallon Pancake Air Compressor Packs Muscle to Move

With the power of a maximum 150 PSI and a fast moving 6 gallon capacity, from the workshop to the garage to the jobsite, no matter where you need the versatility of pneumatic tools, this Craftsman pancake air compressor will be there. Hook up a hose to two with the quick couplers and attach any of the wide array of air tools that exist, nail, blow clean, inflate tires or put some muscle behind an air ratchet, this versatile machine connects fast and helps you get the job done.

With a powerful .8 Horse Power motor, this 6 gallon pancake air compressor generates a steady 2.6SCFM air flow @90PSI so you’ll always have power to take on any job. And since this unit packs light, it’s a cinch to toss in the back of car or truck, so no matter where duty calls you off to, you can get there. Including a nine piece inflation and blow gun kit, along with a lightweight length of coiled hose, this kit is just about ready to go, straight out of the box. Bring it home, and see how a little compressor can make a big difference on your next job.

Answer to Bad Reviewer who couldn't attach hose or attachments
I have the same compressor/model - different make. It does what it's advertised to do. Great for small framing / molding /trim jobs. To the reviewer who was upset about not being able to hook up the air hoses - DO NOT buy a power tool. If you can't figure out simple things - YOU will hurt yourself. Hire someone with common sense!

Poorly Made
This is an air compressor made by Porter Cable. I bought this one to replace a Porter Cable branded air compressor that died on me after only about 10-15 hours of use. Other than the plastic cover on the top, it is identical to my previous compressor...unfortunately it is the only one that will fit in the space I need it to fit in (operates a paper creasing machine in my print shop). On my older machine, the pressure regulator stopped working first after about 10 hours use...so the machine would keep running building up pressure until the safety valve popped. Then after a few more hours use, the release valve on the bottom of the tank wouldn't seal, so all the air would leak out. The machine that the compressor was operating used probably about the same amount of air as a nail gun, so it's duty cycle was only about 10% (motor was only running 10% of the time the compressor was being used). I'm hoping that my old compressor was just a lemon and the new one will last longer.

Beat bostich hands down

Appears to be made by Porter Cable and Sears has a better price on it than ****** or HD. This unit has met and exceeded all of my requirements in my small shop.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great for RV tires

Arrived quickly. Used mainly for inflating motor home tires. Does a much better job than the 3 gallon Campbell Hausfeld.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Very Loud, What?!

Very loud and unexpected. I mean, it'll quiet down for awhile and then out of nowhere it'll start to hum again--loudly! The "charge" if you can call it that, lasts about a room full of baseboards. Ha! :)

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Very Good Product

It's a very good product, easy to use, compact, the price was excellent, it cost 159.99, ten dollars cheaper at Sears.. But they failed in the lack of accesories instructions.

Just like PorterCable C2006

This looks like a private label version of last years Porter Cable C2006. They have been making these for years. A good portable compressor. You can find this years model C2002 for $169. Different shroud on motor and shroud over gauges.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman 6 Gallon Pancake Air Compressor

Perfect addition to my small shop. Light enough to hand carry to the job as needed; small enough to tuck into a corner when not needed. Wish I would have added this jewel earlier. Can't wait to add a couple accessories to it; i.e. brad nailer & maybe an air powered sander! Free Shipping too!!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
