Useful to get into tight areas like around throttle body bolts. It is helpful, but you cannot apply alot of torque because you will break this tool. You need to use swivel sockets or a break bar / crowsfoot, to break the bolts free and then use this tool to loosen the bolt. useful for tight access, but not for torque application such breaking bolts. Only if craftsman could make this spinner a little more sturdy it would be awesome. Hopefully they are reading this review and fix this issue. at least it was made in the u.s.a and not china. If craftsman starts moving the whole line to china, i might as well start buying ************** tools. .

this little guy works to some extent and offers a minimal flexible drive solution. I am disappointed in that it isn't really that flexible. It offers about the same as a wobble head. I am still glad to have it in the box specifically for tight spots like on the TPS.

I purchased this tool to get at the many hose clamps that I have under the hood of my car. The tool works great in low torque situations, but if you have something that's pretty tight, the steel shaft might untwist or the whole shaft will loosen up completely. Yes, it does have the Forever warranty, but it's a nuisance to have to keep running back to the store for a replacement every time it breaks. I would just get a regular spinner handle instead of this.

I have talked about how a spinner handle is useful in making a nut driver out of your 1/4 drive socket set. Isn't the flexible handle just another version of the spin handle? Not quite. I worked in aircraft for years and found that, more often than not, we were struggling to get access to fasteners. If the pin handle cannot attach directly to a fastener do we want to drag our the socket wrench and extensions and universal joints? Not if we can avoid it. Sometimes all we need is just a little bend in the shaft to get to that fastener and that is what the flexible spin handle provides. "Sacramento" Bruce Conklin
