It's made in USA. I have a few others that I bought in auto parts stores and then I bought this one from Sears, you can tell this is the better one. The other ones were not accurate.

Works as advertised. Used countless times so far without fail.

The gauge is traditional and simple in design. It is durable and works with the simplest of ease. It is unsophisticated in design because it works. I have used this style for many years. Simple is as simple does.

Pretty simple item and a must have if you do your own engine work...be it small or car engines. For $2...everybody should have one of these in their toolbox.

for common spark plugs this is the only way to check the plug for wear because the wire creates a very small contact area. Feeler gauges and taper gap gauges can be fooled. This is what you need.

I recently bought this for my son so he could see how we have been gapping spark plugs for years! It was the same one my dad bought for me and one I hope my son will pass on to his son if we still use the internal combustion as it is today. This is a simple tool that with a little knowlege can make or break an engine tune up! I have seen many people tap their plegs on the ground or use a screwdriver to open the gap and so on! I gave simple instructions on how to determine the correct gap and how to use the tool and turned him loose on the riding mower and, voila! Runs better than it ever did before!

I will only use a wire gauge to gap plugs and I've always used my Dad's Snap-on one from the 60's. When I bought my own place, I had to get my own, and I picked this one up. It's not a Snap-on, but it does the job.

This is just your basic run of the mill sparkplug gauge made by Craftsman. I like it because it's easy to read when your checking the depth and gap on a sparkplug so there's no mistaking what you're looking at while you work. Plus, this also comes with the lifetime Craftsman guarantee should you be that one guy who manages to find a way to damage one of these tools. It's this guarantee that keeps me coming back and buying Craftsman time and time again. So pick one of these up if you're a DIY mechanic and throw it in your toolbox.
