No warranty

The warranty is not the normal hand tool warranty that replaced the tool for life. It doesnt specify that the warranty only lasts 90 days. And to top it all off, I cant buy the replacement socket, you have to buy the whole kit all over again. If thats the way this will continue I'll buy snapon or mac tools.

didn't hold up after first few uses

I bought this set for removing lock lugs on cars. the first time I used it, it worked perfect, but after a couple of uses all of the sockets started to strip out. I thought they might work only for rounded lugs instead of the locks that are made round but they didn't seem to work any better on the regular lug nuts that had been rounded either. They solution in every case was to put the set back into my box and get a 3/4 six point socket and beat it onto the lug with a hammer and zip it off with an impact gun. These may have worked better if I had only used them on lugs and bolts whose heads were stripped instead of the factory made round head lock lugs but in either case I think they would be great if they were made out of a much stronger material. I wondered if Craftsman used a cheaper alloy then say, Matco, or Mac, but a coworker of mine bought what looks like the EXACT same set with a different box from Matco and they performed exactly the same. So now we're both stuck with nearly useless six piece paper weights in our tool boxes, only difference is my coworker paid much more for his.
