got this set , its made in the usa. Not china knockoff. have used this set and has not failed yet. satisifed. dont change anything with the specs of this socket set. It not the thickness of my old v series but gets the job done. if they would go back to the thickness of the old v series sockets that would be a plus but i am satisified with this set. i recomend it to anyone. Stay away from the china ones by craftsman. Compare them in the store and you will see that the gauge is thiner by ones made in china which makes them more prone to crack under high torque applications.

i came to purchase this item because i am always having to borrow my friend's tools to get axles out or the job ends up requiring it and i have to go run and get it. so i decided to finally go get my own set at Sears. They have this one which comes in a nice organizer and the size is really easy to read. it comes weith all the sizes to fix most import vehicles. one of the best investments i have made. thanks again Sears

I've been using craftsman for over 35 years now. Alot of that time as an ASE certified auto tech. Always good quality, and best of all, if it breaks on a sat evening i can just run down and they give you a brand new one, no questions.!!! That is worth ALOT if tried snap on and mac and blah blah,,,Craftsman the official tools of NASCAR- nuff said !!!
