Overall, others give this:
A solid mower with a small feature set. It's not self propelled and it doesn't have an electric starting system. These are nice convienences but also reduce reliability and usually cause more problems than they are worth. This mower has no primer bulb so starting is as easy as pulling the cord. So far for the first 6 months of its life it has started the first pull everytime. One thing I noticed was the lack of any idle adjustement. I feared it might die cutting tall grass but it went through fairly moist knee high grass without any issues. It mulches well and when usinghte bag it blows clippings into the bag without leaving a trail behind you. In fact I use it to pick up leaves instead of raking them up. The bag is well designed and easy to empty without having to shake it like a madman and thus getting clippings and dust all over hte place. The one thing I don't like about the mower is that the bag is so small. I have 1/2 acre to mow and if I'm cutting a inch of grass I have to empty it about 8 times. This gets annoying nad otherwise limits this great mower.

My last 3 lawnmowers have been Craftsman(and thats nearly 20 years). I went online shopping for a rearbagging mower this spring. I prefer a push rather than self propelled mower, since I have a flat lawn and an average sized yard. I used to just mulch the clippings when I lived in upstate New York; but since moving to North Carolina and the high humidity mulching tends to be more detrimental to good lawn growth. Now to your product: Reliability-- Nothing says more than return customers. Features-- The 3in1 system gives me the versatility to use the mower in various ways. Performance-- The 6.75 torque rating provides a powerful smooth operation for any cutting needs. Value-- Believe me when I say I did my homework and this Craftsman mower fit my needs perfectly and for a very affordable price. The mower works like a charm. The vacuum system pulls everything up into the bag and the lawn looks like its been vacuumed rather than mowed. This is my first highwheeled model and I will never go back to the smaller wheeled models. The Craftsman reputation made me look there first; but I did tons of research and nothing came close to this Craftsman model when I rated all of the other brands.
Got this mower during a sale. Payed $50 less than what is currently offered. Great value for money. 6.75 hp allows for easy cutting of high grass without stalling. Large rear wheels helps in mowing over uneven terrain. Gas efficient Motor. Highly recommended. Mulching feature cuts grass very fine. Side discharge recommended for high grass. Also good with wet grass. Bagging is self explanitory. Wheel height adjustable for grass level preference. Try this mower, you will like it.
