Product Description
The Craftsman 7-gallon air compressor features a heavy duty 1.0 HP induction motor with a durable, long life oil-lubricated direct drive pump. It features an oil sight glass that makes checking the oil fast and easy eliminating the use of a dip stick. The pump is equipped with a cast iron cylinder sleeve for long life and an aluminum head to dissipate heat. The compressor is portable with 7 inch solid rubber wheels that allow you to move easily around your garage or job site.
This compressor is great for all household inflation jobs such as bike tires, car tires, sports balls, pool toys and air mattresses. It is also capable of operating brad nailers and finish nailers for trim/finish jobs, arts and crafts projects and household repairs.
The compressor is compact and portable making it very easy to transport or store under your workbench in your garage or shop.
The complete kit includes the compressor, bottle of oil, 25ft coil air hose, ¼ inch quick connect plug, ball tire chuck and a roll of sealant tape. Oil must be added to the compressor pump before operation.

After Recieving this as a Christmas present from my wife a year ago I have only used this product not even ten times. I would not recomend this product or any other craftsman product because they are in the business of manufacturing junk. I would go to ******* and buy a new compressor before i bought another from Sears there products a junk and they dont stand behind there products. DO NOT BUY CRAFTSMAN TOOLS!!!!!!The compressor doesn't work any more and Sears wont stand behond there product.

I had this nice little compressor delivered... which appears to be a mistake to have done. First off, the equipment as a whole is very nice little compressor, and is capable of getting the job done. The real compliant about this model, is that is does take awhile for the little motor to fill the tank, and while compressing it does vibrate quite a bit. But of course, this is not a surprise... and with general use this is ok. So why 2 stars? Simply because during shipping my new compressor arrived damaged... I mean really!? I discovered this when I unpacked the unit to find that on the upper housing the area around the start compositor got broken. The compositor itself did not crack or get opened... so I was able to repair the unit. Yes I did ponder if I should return the unit or not- indeed if the compositor opened, I would have. So the lesson here is do not have this unit shipped to your house because the packaging can hold up to shipping.

this is not a $495+ compressor.... but it works perfect.... has a cast iron sleeve.... comes with a basic $15 accessory kit.... perfect for around the house stuff.... we own a detail shop and this works great for air drying vehicles.... a true rare bargain !

Well I picked this thing up on the Returns Table, couldn't understand why somebody would return this piece of equipment. It does everything I want it to, spray the dust off the workbench and my saw equipment, air up tires, I even think this thing could run a nail gun with ease.

I bought this after my family sold my old one at their rummage sale. This has plenty of range and a good guage system to control your pressure. I use it all the time for bike tires, filling the car tires. It loads fast and gives good range of pressure. Remember to empty out the tank when done and use the drain on the bottom to get rid of moisture in the tank so it does not rust pinholes through the bottom of the tank. Good compressor for most jobs!
