Craftsman  7 in. Buffer/Polisher

I purchased this polisher because it was 7in. rather than 6in.PLEASE keep in mind this is a POLISHER not a buffer this tool is intended to apply and remove polishes, not to remove swirls and defects.However dried caked on wax will be hard to remove with any polisher !! best on paint sealers and polish. I use mine daily and love it !!! VERY easy to hold.

Selected the 7-inch buffer as I felt it would work better for our vehicles (Civic and Terrain). The unit is easy to handle without extra weight and my first electric buffer.

I was concerned about the unit because of the price but it is strong and does a good job of buffing and polishing. I did read the reviews and someone said it bogged down under pressure. Either they haven't a clue how to use the unit or got a bad one. Applied ample pressure and it worked well. I have had this unit about a week.

Like this a lot. Does what it is advertised to do. I like the 7 inch better than the 10 inch I had years ago because it is easier to use and can be controlled easily with one hand. Only rub is that the wax application pad needs to be replaced after every use, unlike the buffing pads which are washable and reusable

Sorry to report that this buffer/polisher was not up to the task. I bought it to polish my fiberglass boat, but if any pressure was applied greater than the weight of the polisher, it stopped rotating and vibrated only. Using its own weight was not adequate to remove the polish.

Bought this buffer for detailing my boat. Have never done this before, but it came out nicely.use the aplicater bonnet followed by the terry cloth bonnet to buff to a shine. Then I used the lambswool bonnet to leave the mirror like sheen to the gelcoat. Overall, very satisfied. I had no issues with the cord being in the way as some others say. I found it comfortable to work with.

I purchased this buffer specifically to polish out some weathered headlight lenses.....what a great tool! Headlights are now BETTER than new!

The Craftsman Buffer/Polisher has been in use by my family for nearly 3 yeas and we use it to polish not only 4 cars but also a dutchman Camper. We use this unit for a up to 3 hours with only a few minutes of down time and it keeps on running. The only minor concern is it seems to come unplugged rather easiy but we have resolved that by tieing a knot in the cords too hold them together and it now works even better as it does not come disconnected. It would be nice if addition application clothes were part of the base unit as you find yourselve having to wash them to clean them up. This unit has saved us great amounts of time and makes the vehicle and/or camper look just great.

My contractor had a buffer and I bought this one to buff granite countertops, and stone or wood floors. It is quiet and powerful. I like using it almost daily for spot touch ups. It is a good quality for a low price after craftsman discounts and free shipping from sears. The only con is finding the craftsman buffer bonnets, however, other brands work well.

Great tool for the money....makes quick work of rubbing out paint and polishing
