Overall, others give this:
The tool is unique , and i really like the idea but i do with this came maybe in a 9 or 11 inch version as well to give you more leverage on these hard crews and bolts

There are things I like and things that I dislike about this tool. First the form, fit & finish is ok but not great like I am used to for a Craftsman. There is nothing glaringly wrong but overall I can see a drop in overall quality. The best way that I can describe it is that it just looks cheap. You can see the tool steel was not smoothed out before the chroming process. Instead of a smooth as glass finish there are small ridges in the steel that are most likely caused by a novice incorrectly setting up the lathe and bit. There are no flakes but you can see these fine serrated grooves beneath the chrome. It looks like it was chromed right over the imperfections. The ends of the bar look as if they were cut off with a stamp press leaving them slightly distorted instead of cutting and finishing for a perfect circle finish. The pressed in ball bearing stops in the ends of the slider bar look like they were set in place with a hammer and punch instead of a machine press, The lines are off center and sloppy looky in my opinion. I ordered all three sizes and am reviewing them separately however the overall quality of each is lower than the thousand or 2 Craftsman Tools that I have loyally bought over the last 3 decades. This quality problem must be addressed in my opinion. I find the center groove a plus but do notice that the edges are sharper than they should be. This has led to pinching the skin on my fingers a few times that is uncomfortable. I have never had any of my other sliders from other manufacturers ever do this, I believe this is a result of cheaper manufacturing processes. My conclusion is the tool is ok but nothing to brag about. You may be better off selecting another brand that emphasizes higher quality if you are looking for the Craftsman of old. I would gladly pay a little more for the higher quality. I will use these but they are not the quality of tool that will get handed down to my grandson. When they're used up they'll end up in a garage sale or the can.
I bought a set of 3 sliding T-handles and they are all great. I would like a longer 3/8" drive bar BUT, this one works well. Note that these DO have a notch in the middle of the bar to secure the bit holder/socket in the center. Some love the groove, some don't. These are about the best t-handles you can get at a reasonable price. There are more expensive ones but, these work just as well and are priced reasonable enough to have for convenience.
These are a dying tool. Few use them anymore so it's probably not needed for most users/diy'ers but, there are a real wrist/finger saver working on small engines and bikes. (I do not work on motorcycles/bikes; Only small engines but, these are common for bike shops)
