This is a well made set of torx sockets that should last a lifetime. If you have a project that requires dealing with this type of bolt head, this is the tool to get the job done.

I purchased this set from the Brighton, Mi. Sears during their "going out of business" sale. I got home and proceeded to remove the sockets from their plastic packaging and stick them to a socket-rack and low and behold - three of the seven sockets were missing large slabs of chrome on the non-display sides. I expect this from the Chinese-made Craftsman tools but not a USA-made set!

I bought these about a month ago when I was in a jam. One of the sockets needed on a customers car was a external Torx, which as a mechanic I have. I was using an impact MAC socket with a 3/8 breaker bar to remove the bolt. The MAC socket snapped so I picked the craftsman set up. Craftsman set held up better then the MAC tool. Was very impressed. Only downside was they only had E-Torx sets, not single sockets.

Got these on sale for a good deal a year ago. There still made here in the states with a Forever Full Warranty. Cant beat that with a ball bat. Saved me some serious time while working on auto ac....

Had to buy these for a specific job on my car. Only needed the E14, but they're only available as a set. Great quality and well marked. However, way over priced at $40. The price may have been easier to swallow if they came with a nice storage device, but no. The $10 craftsman evolv torx (not external torx) bit sets come with a great rubber holder. Why can't is $40 set?

This is a nice set, good quality, the etched sizes on the socket are easy to read, the sizes included seem to be the ones I need most. The price is a little high for the set.

If you own a GM automobile, sooner or later you are going to need these. I was doing a brake job on my Pontiac and needed to change a Cylinder. The part is held on with bolts with external torx heads. My auto parts store didn't have them in stock. I went to my local Sears store and bought this set which was a stock item. (This is another reason I like Sears) Took them back to my garage and finished the job in no time. The sockets are built well and have the usual Craftsman quality. Nice finished edges, great fitment to the torx heads. You can leave them in their plastic package as they snap in ncely. However, I placed mine on a rail for greater convenience. These earn a FIVE STAR rating in every area except for the price. I had to give them a FOUR star rating because I believe the price to be too high for a 7 piece set. I realize they have a lifetime warranty, but you shouldn't have to pay twice the price to get it. I would expect an 11 piece set for this price. However, I still recommend this set, but try to buy it on sale before you actually need it !
