Product Description
These Craftsman Elbow Ratcheting Wrenches with Pivoting Joints enable you to work around obstructions and get to those hard to reach nuts and bolts. Once the wrench and fastener is engaged, use a push pull motion to quickly ratchet nuts and bolts. For maximum leverage, use the push button lock to lock the joint into one of 13 different positions.

Overall, others give this:

I am a mechanic, I bought a standard and metric set of these wrenches. I broke the 10mm the first time I used it. Any other time I use them, the button to switch from locked to unlock consistently unlocks while in use. I'd put them on Craigslist but would feel bad for selling someone my garbage. Good idea, bad design. I should have went with a brand of better quality.

I purchased both the metric and inch sets and have found them very useful. While some of the locking mechanisms are hard to manipulate on the smaller wrenches, overall I found them great for getting into odd and tight spots. Would recommend these wrenches for anyones toolbox.

Great set of tools! I use these all the time in the auto shop. They're perfect for getting into spots where there is not much clearance. I also have a set of flexneck crossbeam ratchets (also great by the way), thinking those would be the last set of ratcheting wrenches I would ever need...well these ended up supplementing those! These fit in spaces that even those won't fit in. If you can feel the nut/bolt with your hand, you can get it with these! With the elbow ratcheting mechanism unlocked, you can tighten/loosen a fastener just by pushing up and down on the handle if necessary, allowing you to work in a space that even a stubby ratchet wouldn't fit in! Perfect for doing those belt adjustments on vehicles with notoriously poor clearances (Toyota 4Runners for example). Don't let what others have posted scare you away, where the product is made has no relevance to the product itself. Giving an item a negative review for where it is made is just as moronic as those Amazon reviewers who leave negative feedback about a product for slow shipping.

These wrenches are a great idea and do work great, but the locking mechanisms on them are a little tough to operate. They definitely could use a little refinement. Some are loose and others are extremely tight. Overall these wrenches definitely serve there purpose for getting into some odd places. I would definitely recommend them if you can get them on sale. I wouldn't pay the $100 original price though.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he just loved them. Immediately upon opening, he had to find something to use them on. He's very happy.

I was unaware they were made in China before I bought them, but after thinking about it...I really don't care because the bottom line is these are a nice addition to any tool box. Besides, being biasd about these wrenches being made in China isn't worth losing sleep over when 90% of Americas' imported goods are from China anyway. Do yourself a favor..buy them, and you'll be happy...maybe not, but I am:)

<p style="margin: 0.0px 0.0px 16.0px 0.0px; font: 16.0px Arial;">Right out of the box this tool did nothing but cause frustration. I recently purchased the standard and metric set only to return it the very next day. The idea of a wrench being able to turn at an angle to reach those tight spots was great... if it actually worked. The push button "lock" and "unlock" was it biggest flaw. About two wrenches from each set were extremely hard to push in or out, and one from each wouldn't even lock in place(9/16 & 14mm). So out of the seven wrenches they sell you four work out great. I just may be that unfortunate one that got all the bad apples, but my advise is to just stay away.

My son bought them for me as a Christmas present. Metric. Sizes are not accurate (for example, 10mm open end would turn a bolt that the ratched end could not bite into. Elbows bind up). Very poor quality. Made in China. Returned to store and told them if they did not give a refund I would leave them there, as having them at hand was worse than having nothing. Got $10 less than price at Christmas ($99). Concerned that Craftsman has lost its desirability, since they are cheapening the product.

I was helping my friend reinstall parts on his Cessna engine and these wrenches were able to reach and ratchet where no other tool would fit. One of the slickest wrenches I have used in a long time. As soon as we were done I went straight to Sears and bought a set. Highly recommend them! I love these wrenches....

Although made in China (which is why I gave them a 4 star) These are excellent tools. I have never had a wrench with so much articulation. I am of the opinion that you can never have enough combo's but, after these, I am not sure what to do with the rest of my combo's now. I am sad that these are not american made, sad day for craftsman but, still quality tools. Price tag is a little hefty but don't be afraid of these, they are fantastic!
