Product Description

7-pc Inch Elbow Ratcheting Wrench Set Works the Way You Want it To

When you're in a tight spot, the Craftsman 7-pc inch elbow ratcheting wrench set is a fantastic addition to your toolbox. With heads that pivot to squeeze into the narrow confines of an engine or work through a small space around the house, this set will quickly become your go-to equipment when you need torque at an angle that would be awkward for most normal wrenches or ratchets.

The swivel heads aren't the only appeal of the 7-pc elbow ratcheting wrench set. The 12-point opening gives you greater grip at more angles along the fastener, increasing access while reducing necessary swing. The set comes in the most popular sizes and meets SAE standards, assuring that you'll have the right tool on hand for most any job. Add it to your kit, and get the job done with the power of Craftsman.

  • The Craftsman 7-pc inch elbow ratcheting wrench set adjusts to fit in where ordinary tools won't go
  • Swivel design alters the length as well as the direction, helping the wrench twist into tighter spaces as well as tough angles
  • Swivel head locks into place with a click
  • Measurements meet SAE standards
  • 12-point openings grip at more angles
  • Wrench lengths range from 7.03 to 11.84 in.
  • Opening sizes include: 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16 and 3/4 inch
  • The tools are made of alloy steel with an easy-to-clean chrome finish
  • Backed by the Craftsman Forever Guarantee

I own this set and can't complain

I was unaware they were made in China before I bought them, but after thinking about it...I really don't care because the bottom line is these are a nice addition to any tool box.  Besides, being biasd about these wrenches being made in China isn't worth losing sleep over when 90% of Americas' imported goods are from China anyway.  Do yourself a favor..buy them, and you'll be happy...maybe not, but I am:)

Wont buy...Made in China!

I would love to purchase these wrenches but as long as sears keeps making Craftsman in China, I will vote with my dollar and NOT purchase the tools! They are charging a premium price for the name (which is going down hill). ************** most likely has things for 1/3 the price and guess what...also made in china! A sears manager told me they were still made to their specs, I politely replied they were not made to my specs and went on my way.

Half off Sale!

When I saw this for half off I figured I could justify buying them. I defiantly don't think that I will use them everyday but I do think they will come in handy in some odd situations. I wish the locking button was bigger or somehow easier to lock and unlock.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Sale Price

I bought these on a tool sale for $50. I figured you can't go wrong for half price. I haven't had a chance to use these SAE elbow ratcheting wrenches much but they seem to have a strong elbow joint. I do wish the button to lock them in place would maybe be bigger so it would be friendlier for larger fingers.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good set for the price

I have both the metric and inch sets and they work really good. Being able to lock the wrench at multiple angles makes it easier to deal with obstructions when working.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Wrenches, although they require adjusting

Out of the package, noticed some issues similar to others here. One of the wrenches (7/16) failed to enter locked status. Because I bought them at an OSH store which is closing its doors, I can not return them. Not a problem, the simple unlock/lock mechanism is easily fixable. Using my t-7 torx screwdriver, I was able to remove the lock and reset it. there is 2 screws one cam-shaft and a simple clip. When positioned in the correct way it worked. Now this is not a clinic so I won't go into a lot of details, but I will be willing to later... WARNING. You disassemble at your own risk and don't lose the parts as, Sears/Craftsman won't honor a warranty if you do it wrong. My works now, but it has to so assembled in an exact order or you have to redo it and start over.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Save your $ and buy a better set.

I am a mechanic, I bought a standard and metric set of these wrenches. I broke the 10mm the first time I used it. Any other time I use them, the button to switch from locked to unlock consistently unlocks while in use. I'd put them on Craigslist but would feel bad for selling someone my garbage. Good idea, bad design. I should have went with a brand of better quality.

Elbow Ratcheting a great idea

I purchased both the metric and inch sets and have found them very useful. While some of the locking mechanisms are hard to manipulate on the smaller wrenches, overall I found them great for getting into odd and tight spots. Would recommend these wrenches for anyones toolbox.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
Great tool- perfect for reaching in those hard-to-get-at areas.

Great set of tools! I use these all the time in the auto shop. They're perfect for getting into spots where there is not much clearance. I also have a set of flexneck crossbeam ratchets (also great by the way), thinking those would be the last set of ratcheting wrenches I would ever need...well these ended up supplementing those! These fit in spaces that even those won't fit in. If you can feel the nut/bolt with your hand, you can get it with these! With the elbow ratcheting mechanism unlocked, you can tighten/loosen a fastener just by pushing up and down on the handle if necessary, allowing you to work in a space that even a stubby ratchet wouldn't fit in! Perfect for doing those belt adjustments on vehicles with notoriously poor clearances (Toyota 4Runners for example).

Don't let what others have posted scare you away, where the product is made has no relevance to the product itself. Giving an item a negative review for where it is made is just as moronic as those Amazon reviewers who leave negative feedback about a product for slow shipping.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
