I feel like I am in Chinese Restaurant and the server just handed me a single chop stick. What can I do with a single chop stick? Where is the other chop stick?
12 mm is the maybe most common import nut/bolt size. 18 mm is a very common GM size. Both are missing from this otherwise very good set.
My son bought me a set for Christmas. Tried to use them several times for car repair. Open end fit, but ratchet of same size was too large (i.e. 10mm). Elbow lock would not move on several. Made in China. Had to return them for $10 less than was originally paid.

HORRIBLE QUALITY. I had to return 2 complete sets because of one problem or another before I received a set that worked ok. There are 2 big flaws: 1. The joint action can be very stiff and rough and feels like something is grinding. 2. The locking mechanism can be stiff and not lock at all. I urge everyone who has already bought this set to take it back to Sears and exchange it as many times as you have to in order to get a set that actually works the way it's supposed to. Maybe Craftsman will get the message and once again focus on quality!!!

Has CRAFTSMAN had these wrenches made by a fool company or a tool company? I had to add another brands 12 mm & 16 mm wrenches to make this set complete for my use! The overall quality is a 7 of 10, not up to the CRAFTSMAN level!! This has been a overall good tool set as they do give great access to places where a normal end wrench would not! Thanks CRAFTSMAN for ?? Maybe I should have just paid more money and bought the other guys 12 piece indexing set and been done with it from the very get go huh?

Got this set to go along with the SAE set and unfortunately didn't notice the missing 12 mm wrench. 12 mm is like the 1/2 in. wrench of the metric world, and is probably the second most used size on lots of DIY projects with my truck. Craftsman really dropped the ball on this one.

I would not have bought this set if i had noticed it did not have 12mm wrench. that is one of the most common wrenches i use. sears should offer a 12mm wrench to everyone that has bought this set at no extra charge.

These wrenches are a great innovative design. The rotating box wrench side allows for a lot of flexibility and versatility in their application and use. The box wrench can be locked in place or can operate while rotating for different applications. Not to mention the ratcheting wrench alone is a great technology that saves your knuckles time and time again. I think the only improvement that could be made to this particular set is to also have the open ended wrench side ratchet. However, given the options available and the price, I think that thse are the best compromise one can make.

Like others, the locking mechanism on my 11mm wrench did not work correctly. I tried to return it, but all of them are that way. The set is missing three sizes, 12mm, 16mm and 18mm. Sears has set aside part numbers 14580, 14584-14631, and 14633 for these missing wrenches, but they are still not available. I've been waiting 9 months, but they still aren't on the Sears website. Very frustraing.

I love these wrenches...or at least the idea behind them. I hate the fact that the set I purchased had a non-functional-11 MM wrench that would not lock even after trying to push the lock with a pin-punch and hammer. There was no 12 MM wrench in the set. (Who the heck uses 11MM wrenches when just about every Japanese car on the planet has bolts with 12 MM heads anyway???) Great idea, I love the concept, but you can be SURE I will be calling Sears on the lifetime warranty and beating up some poor Sears tool guy to trade me a USELESS 11MM ************ wrench for a WORKING 12 MM one. What Genius designed this set?????

I just bought this and the SAE set, along with the two flex racheting sets that compliment these two sets. Had to drive down to the local store to exchange the two smallest flex wrenches that would not lock at any angle, probably just insufficient machining on the grooves. Didn't bother me terribly when you consider your alternatives, and I had an excuse to go to my grown-up candy store. These are excellent wrench sets, especially when compared to the tool truck offerings by cost. Now, my gripe. Why Sears thinks there's a need to equalize the metric and SAE sets is beyond the sense God gave a goose. I need thirteen sizes of metric wrenches and seven sizes of SAE wrenches, that's why metric sets are more expensive. I'm patiently waiting for Sears to mint my missing six sizes so I can get some work done with tools that aren't priced for their weight in gold. Go check a tool truck web site for the sets they offer and count the number of wrenches in the SAE and metric sets and you'll find out the difference between a real tool company and the thoughtless marketing oversights I'm putting up with from my favorite home-garage tool brand.
