These T Handle hex keyes are great. I've had my set now for about 2 years. I use gloves when i do car work and most other work. These t handles make it easy to grip and keep stable. they can be a bit of a pain in tight spots but in normal use they are GREAT!

Craftsman 7 pc. Standard T-Through Handle Ball End Hex Key Set, Red Handle, #46383, 12/20/09, USA, $19.99 3/32 unknown 7/64 46386 1/8 46388 5/32 46389 3/16 46301 7/32 46392 1/4 46393 Comfortable Grip. Better torque strength for me. I used a pair of 6" peg hooks to hang them by size in my shop. I used mineral oil on them before I put them on my peg hooks. Outstanding easy opening packaging...Thank you. The bright Red handle is nice looking. Easy to read size on the handle. Some of the Craftsman replacement numbers on the hex shank were so small that they were hard to read even with a magnification glass. Some unreadable numbers on the shank like 3/32? The standard set was harder to read than the Metric set. Made in USA.

I have had the ball ends break off, the shafts twist (they look like wrought iron), and the ends round off. These issues may be due to inadequate heat treatment. They also take up a lot of room in my toolbox. I wouldn't buy them again.

I think this is a great idea--having the T-handle stick out so you can also use it as a regular L-hex wrench. The only thing I wish is that they made them in the larger sizes--1/4" is the largest I could find, and where I work I need hex key sizes up to at least 1/2"

I've comparison shopped other brands for these specific tools and these are the best for the best price; with the Craftsman name and the lifetime replacement guarantee, all at a very competitive price, you just can't do better than Craftsman T-handle hex keys; I use them on my motorcycle and they give me the fit and strength to really tighten down bolts unlike any others on the market; kudos again, for the best product at the best price! A buddy has a SnapOn set but I couldn't afford that so I purchased the Craftsman 7 pc. Ball End Hex Key Set, T-Through Handle, Inch. The grips are fantastic as they don't slip when I have oily hands. These are durable; such as when I'm placing a significant amount of torque behind the wrench to break free bolts that have thread locker on them, the shaft stays put and doesn't spin inside the handle. Although the entire set doesn't have ball ends, they are still well worth the price. My 3/16" gets the most usage and will soon have to be exchanged for another as the ball end is becoming rounded off. That is why I purchased the Craftsman though, lifetime warranty. I love my Craftsman tools!
