I can get past the "Made in China" BS. The tool is still Craftsman and it works. Honestly, I find a lot of American products to be of questionable quality. These wrenches fit well, they are easy to grip, feel sturdy. I haven't used it on all the different bolts it claims to work on but I did successfully use it on a worn down bolt that we thought was a lost cause. If the product is quality, I don't care where it is made.
I had them in my hand at my local store ready to purchase them when I saw they were made in China, I promptly put them back. Too bad cause it seems like a good idea. The store manager was very nice and said they were made to craftsman specs as far as quality, I told her that they weren't made to my specs. I wrote sears, and they gave me a generic reply "thank you for your concerns regarding the tools being made in china, we will pass the info to the proper channels". Dear sears executives, I will not purchase Craftsman tools that are made in China. I hope some of you are reading this.
