I have both Craftsman and Dremel rotary tools. They are both great. I find though that I use the cut-off wheels for most of the work I do with a rotary tool. This box offers a nice selection for a price that might get you only 20 or so Dremel cut-off wheels. I often use them fro cutting bolts in hard to reach places. Doing this you may7 need several extra wheels on hand for one job as they will often shatter with a little abuse. (OK so I'm not so patient.) Even when properly used you need to wear safety glasses when using these delightful little tools.

I have several dremels and I find myself using cutoff wheels in my tools the most. This set is a useful addition to the roatary tool kit. Nice for cutting small bolts and screws and cutting plastic sheet goods and thin metal strapping.

If you are into restoring old toolboxes you will probably want to pick up this set of cut-off wheels to fit in your Craftsman Rotary Tool. One of the most difficult challenges I've found while restoring old boxes is removing the latches, handles and hardware without causing further damage to the box itself. Most of the time these hardware pieces are attached to the box using rivets. Driving the rusted rivet out with a roll pin can enlarge the original hole and cause a mushroom in the box skin. If you leave the hardware in place and try to work around it you are surely leaving unwanted rust on your restoration project. Your Craftsman Rotary Tool with assorted size cut-off wheel makes short work of these rivets. Pick up a set and give it a try for yourself. I think you will find it a lot of fun and your restoration projects will become much more professional.
