I have the older version of this tool but I couldn't imagine my job without them. I use them daily, 7/16 and 9/16 anyway. The open ended ratcheting works great on f-fittings. You don't have to take the wrench off the connector like traditional wrenches so the job goes MUCH quicker. Multiply that time the hundred or so connectors I use it on in a day and you see the time savings. The closed ratcheting is great for drop hangers. You can get them on quick and easy. The faster I get done outside in the heat, cold and rain the better. I will not be without them.
I was excited about buying this set until I learned its made in China. If it isn't made in the USA, it should have one of Sears' other in-store brands stamped on it. Craftsman is supposed to be a "Made in USA" brand.
The craftsman dual ratcheting combination wrench set works out pretty good. I like that fact it's ratcheting on both sides which makes jobs a lot easier and faster. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone since I've had no issues with them yet. It also cuts out a bunch of wrenches in my tool box so it isn't as packed and cluttered which makes it easier to find tools for the task at hand.
I bought this as a gift, so I haven't used it. My husband has the same set and loves it. I now see other family members admiring the wrenches. I guess I better hurry up and get it wrapped up before it disappears. Also comes with a lifetime warranty! Good heavy wrenches that make quick work with the ratcheting end.
So far I haven't mastered the use of the ratcheting open end wrenches. When I have been successful, they are very nice. However, that end is not always useful. The ratcheting closed end of the wrench is excellent.

I replaced a set of Gear wrench ratchet wrenches with these. The open end ratchet system is great when in tight places loosening bolts. Sears lifetime warranty makes this even better. Highly recommended!
I've had this set for about 3 years and I prefer the 8pc Pro Use Reversible Ratcheting Wrench Set (owned 5 years) sold by Sears over this one. I've found the open end ratcheting portion to be the weak spot...ie, it just doesn't work like it should and frequently slips around hex nuts/bolts, unless you have a perfect purchase on said nut/bolt. The open end won't "sit" on a bolt head without pushing it on from the "front." Also, the ratcheting box end is flat and I find the slightly angled box heads to be more versatile, although the flat head is sometimes required in tight places. I prefer the "flick-ability" of the reversing function of the previous mentioned set over this one...I almost always put the box end on backwards and have to flip it around vice just "flicking" my thumb on the reversing lever. Overall, I find Craftsman wrenches have a "fat" open end as compared to equivalent Snap-On wrenches. I really only grab them when I want the ratcheting function of the box end.
