The 8 pc reversable ratcheting comb wrench set is cool but...
I LOVE my Craftsman tools. All of them. They are priced right and can handle any job I do. They have never failed me. I expect the same out of this wrench set. There is only 1 reason that I won't give it 5 stars. These wrenches were made in China...... One of the greatest things that I could always count on was that Craftsman tools are made in the U.S.A I didn't even check the packaging when I bought them, I just assumed they were American made, because they're Craftsman. It matters to me, and made me mad. I hope this is not a sign of things to come, because I will spend my money elsewhere to get an American made product. I wanted to take them back, but my wife talked me out of it. I will come back to Sears for the next tool purchase, but you can be sure I will read the package and NOT purchase any tool not made in this country.

Not Made In USA as pictured online.
Very disappointed that so many Craftsman wrenches and sockets are no longer made in the USA. The photos online show the USA engraving in the tool, but the set I received didn't have this engraving and was Made In China. I hope this is not a permanent solution for Sears. I am a loyal Craftsman customer, have been for years, but I refuse to support their non USA made hand tools. If they offered the Craftsman Professional line in stores, I would gladly pay more for the USA branding. I did not use these wrenches, I returned them to the store.

Love these things

I bought these to compliment the metrics I already had. I've had those for years and they make life so much easier! The metrics I had are made in the good old USA, these are Chinese. It appears you might get either one from reading other reviews. I ordered online and got the Chinese ones. Comparing the two, the open end is bigger on these than the US made ones and are a bit thicker and heavier too. I can't really tell a difference in the quality of these yet as I haven't used them under much stress yet. The US made ones are flawless and these seem to work the same thus far at least on lightweight applications. Unfortunately, it is getting harder and harder to get made in the USA, even from Craftsman.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good tool if you get the US made ones

This is a great product but if you get the china made ones they are too thick and mess up from the wrench easier. The US made ones are about 1/3 thinner lighter and feel more durable

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Hope you get USA made

The new chinese made wrenches are garbage. The heads are huge. The open end opens up. The ratchet end is also huge and the ratchet is weak. These went from an awesome wrench at an awesome price to garbage at the same price. Save some money and get the GearWrench, it is the same thing.

Very Nice Wrench Set

I bought this set as a replacement to one that I had lost. I use these wrenches everyday at my job as a maintenance technician. I love to use these ratcheting wrenches because it makes my job easier and quicker. My only complaint is that since the time I bought my first set and this recent set, the style has changed slightly. The open end has a broader profile than the old ones so it does not fit into tight spots like my old set did. I am not sure why they changed the style but it usually almost always has to do with the manufacture saving money. This would be my guess here. Unfortunately they made an excellent set of wrenches into JUST a very nice set of wrenches. I hope this trend does not continue.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

not what they used to be

I guess when you make them with poor quality materials they have to be built as big as a club to have any strength. I returned both sets. I'll buy the quality sets from a REAL tool supplier.
