This two behind spreader made it easy to fertilize a large space. Although a bit difficult to reach back to adjust the lever due to the large seat on the garden tractor, you are able to reach it without getting off. Saved considerable time and effort vs. the push spreader used previously. For disclosure, I am a Sears associate.

For the price I paid it was worth it but that being said it was complicated to put together took almost 2 1/2 hrs it does the job I bought it for I have 3 acres to seed and it did the job all in all good for price but if you want something worth more pay more
The holes on the tubes were not aligned. I was able to correct the problem by setting the problem holes first and then setting the correctly bored holes/tubes. I wasted a good hour partially assembling and disassembling and then reassembling. The construction is cheap and I don't expect it to last long. Luckily I only need it for seed since I don't use chemicals, so it will only get used once or twice a year.

This is the third year I have used this spreader. I had no problems with it the first two years. It didn't take long to put it together. When I got it out this spring the sliding piece that opens and closes the discharge space would not close. I discovered that after I had filled it with product. I finally went in to the store and had them order me a new cable. I took in all the literature and the salesman said that is what I needed. I tried to put it on tonight. From the diagrams in the original instructions it looks like the cable was already attached to the impeller under the hopper. So I have to take it apart. I can't just reverse the steps because I am afraid when I remove the hubcaps and wheels I won't be able to replace them. Tomorrow I will try undoing enough of the frame to gain access to the impeller parts so I can insert the cable in the sliding plate. Hopefully that will fix it. I get Sears products because you can always order parts. But the part came with no instructions. I still think the spread was a good purchase because I think I can get it fixed.

I bought this to apply fertilizer by pulling it in back of my riding lawnmower. It does a very good job. I wonder, however, if the setting is correct, since the amount of fertilizer appears to be somewhat light. It works as advertised and makes my job easier to fertilize my lawn.

I recently purchased a home on 2 acres and wanted to save money in lawn care by purchasing my own spreader to hook to my new lawn tractor. Works well and have used several times already.
