Overall

Great tool to have when woking on vehicles

I work on vehicles everyday, this tool I keep in my pocket, most vehicles have clamps where this little guy is useful.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall

Craftsman 8mm Nut Driver does the job, most of the time

I'm not a big nutdriver user, but I needed this particular size to work on a particular piece of equipment. I also needed 7mm, which the store was out of which annoyed me at the time. After this one proved to be inadequate in one particular case, I ceased looking for the 7mm and went with sockets and spinner instead of this. The only place where this would be 'better' would be for a nut on a long screw, due to the hollow shaft this has.

There is nothing wrong with the quality of this, and the size is pretty good. The only problem is that the handle is not big enough to provide enough torque for one bolt I ran into. And there is not really a good way to 'magnify' the torque. Fortunately, someone else had a crescent wrench which fit over the flats on the handle so I was able to get the bolt loose. The handle was marked up a bit, but the driver is still fully functional.

The gray color of the handle is a bit drab, but does identify it as metric at a glance. Since this is the only one I have, I can't say if the color band around it is helpful in determining the size.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
