I used to work with a guy who had one of these and we initially made fun of his "paint scrapper", but this is one handy little pry bar. I purchased it because I had to remove a bunch of oak trim for a kitchen remodel and this thing works like a charm for getting it loose without damage. This is a cheap tool that will save you time and money!

How many pry-bars do you have in your toolbox? If you answered one, you probably need to make a trip to Sears before you begin your next demolition/remodeling job. An effective pry-bar is job specific! By that I mean there are a number of factors that go into determining if the tool you are using is ideal (or at minimum suitable) for the job at hand. Many pry-bars are big and bulky. They are designed to give you the maximum amount of leveraging force for prying away material. Often times, however that isn't what you need. Sometimes you require a slimmer, more elegant tool to get the job done, That's where this little gem might be useful. I commonly find this bar helpful when I am installing hardwood or laminate flooring. Inserting the last row of the room can be a bit tricky. You want a close fit that can be concealed by shoe mold but it is difficult to engage the tongue and groove portion to close up the gap. With this tool, this task and many others are a snap.

A double-ended, solid steel scraping tool! Excellent. The edge is not replaceable, like the disposable lighter-duty scrapers. But, the edges hold up longer and either end is easily sharpened. It is also a wide and thin edged pry tool. Very good for the careful removal of wall and baseboard molding, that will be reused.
