Enjoy an Immaculate lawn Thanks to the Craftsman 3 Bin Soft Bagger
The easily attach the 9 bushel 3 bin soft bagger for Craftsman tractor with a 54 inch deck to quickly and efficiently collect grass clippings and leaves. Plus, unlike a typical bag system, you won't need to deal with individual bags – simply fill the bins up with clippings, lift, dump and refill. This bagger completely eliminates the need for manual raking. If clippings aren't collected directly after mowing, they can build up over time, compress and prevent grass roots from receiving the right amounts of water, oxygen and nutrients.
Easy-to-empty Craftsman 3 bin soft bagger collects up to a massive 9 bushels of clippings for less frequent dumping. Boasting a 50% larger capacity than a standard 2-bin bagger, this 3-bin bagger offers less frequent dumping, as well as less frequent stopping so you can get the job done in half the time. The top of the bag is designed for improved airflow, which results in fuller bags. Easy-glide design with built-in handles provides no-hassle clipping disposal.

The bags were easy to remove from their brackets and each bag has a strap on the bottom to hold onto while shaking the grass out of them.
Has three bins that come out separately and supposed to collect 9 bushels of grass clippings. The right side bin does not fill up and 90% of the time the tube clogs up and I get no clippings at all. A waste of money and time to even put it on and then clean the tube when I am done.
This came out of the box nearly completely assembled, which made for use quick and easy. That's where the goodness ends, though. The upper and lower chutes are so thin and flimsy, I know they will not last long. I replaced a bagger more than ten years old, still in great shape, but won't fit my new Craftsman tractor. This one will never last that long.
My husband would not use our older smaller bagger as it constantly plugged up. We bought this 3 bin bagger and he says that is works great. More importantly, my yard looks awesome!
The entry port has a rubber gasket that receives the tubes that connect the tractor discharge port. This rubber gasket is not durable and it soon tears free from the fasteners and also splits at the bottom rendering the entry point open to the outside air with grass cuttings being blown back in and over the motor causing the motor to get clogged with grass cuttings and also causes dry material and dust to enter the motor intake port. There are no parts available to enable replacement as the gasket is permanently mounted thereby forcing a repurchase of the whole unit.

Have around 1 acre to mow of mixed grasses in the back and mostly centipede in the front. Couple of things you must remember to do to get the bagger to cooperate: (1) have the proper blades installed on mower. The ones with the lifted lip are designed to act as fans to move air into the bagger. (2) Keep blades SHARP and mower deck CLEAN. I used a deck spray after cleaning (took deck off and scraped/washed) which helps keep grass from building up. Don't forget to grease the spindles also. Take the plastic guards off when you grease. You'd be surprised how much grease can escape around the grease fittings during the greasing process. (3) Make sure all the bagger connectors are tight. (4)You will need to keep the mower running on the Grass Cutting setting--that is spooled all the way up (RABBIT), to keep air moving from the deck to the grass collector. (5) For the first couple of cutting use a higher (height) setting on the deck. I have a LOT of grass clipping/leaves/sticks etc. buildup from years of NOT using a grass clipping collector. A higher setting also allows air to move more freely into the deck and to the bagger. (6) It's true wet grass has a tendency to clog the process up. I found this true of cutting dry clover and other "juicy" grass types. I slowed the ground speed of my mower and made sure the engine was maxed out as far as speed and moved the deck to the highest setting. Last but not least; I'll probably be mowing the grass more often as I had to empty the bags 5-6 times the first time I used the bagger...WHEW! Hope this helps! Robert email@example.com
I was told you had one in stock. Later I was told the inventory was wrong and the bagger would have to be ordered. Was told that I could pick it up on July 5th. Then I was told that it wouldn't be in the store until July 11th. Two weeks after the mower purchase.
