well i need a shop vac badly, i went to sears and bought this one.. and it's great IT DOES EVERYTHING!! it's a great bang for the buck, seriously! it was 59.99 and i got it for 30.00 with tax and a 2 year warranty. so for that money i got a great product! best vaccum i've ever owned!

The clips to hold the top to the base are flimsy and don't secure the top very well. The floor model did not hold at all but the sales clerk said that there would be no problem with a new unit.

My old Sear vac used a screw on cap to hold the filter in place, and worked great. The new design is a rubber, friction fit which is tough to push on/off without raising huge clouds of dust, soot, or whatever it was you vacuumed. I don't think the designer of this system ever used it or it wouldn't have made it to market. Before you buy, look at the filter retention system, and see if it's ok for you. I think it is terrible.

I am very happy with this product. The HP is exactly what I wanted. The salesman was very helpful and suggested an extra item I needed but did not think of it at time of purchasing. I like the light weight of the vac as I am disabled and have a hard time lifting heavy items.

As far as we can tell, and after an hour talking with a service rep, there are no bags for this canister vac. It is pointless to vacuum up the shop/garage, then have to find a bag to dump everything into. Taking it back without ever plugging it in.
