I'm a HVAC tech w/25yrs of experience and counting. I have many impact socket sets. These craftsman easy to read impact sockets are ok for the money and are for life guaranteed. My only concern is that 2 of the nine sockets have excessive runout. It not a big deal for a normal socket, but when socket is spinning at 3,000 rpms it is. Holding the impact gun pointing straight up with the socket on and just squeezing the trigger just enough to spin it you can see and feel the runout and wobble in the socket. Have you ever tried to run a screw down into something and felt the impact gun move back and forth its from the runout in the socket. So does it matter...you be the judge.

I got these Craftsman easy read models to replace my old regular sockets. In my old age, it's becoming hard to see the little writing on sockets. These easy read models are great. I can see them without reading glasses and even in dark situations. I plan on replacing all my sockets with easy reads.

This is a very robust tool set!!! i have used it for removing very stuborn bolts, and have had to use extreme torq on the sockets in this set....And they keep on tickin!!!

As we all know that Craftsman tools are good, this set is particularly amazing. It makes you feel that they will never fail. The workmanship is also spectacular. However, this set can not replace your usual collection of sockets completely, because they are a little bit thicker. This is not Craftsman's fault, since this set is super sturdy.
