I purchased this set for use at home. I own two foreign cars which are all Metric. The set is a good choice for home use let alone daily use as a mechanic. I work in a production facility where Snap On Tools are in use. I feel this set would do the job in daily use just as well as the high dollar ones.

After attemptimg to remove a hard to get bolt with a regular combination wrench and it taking four minutes to get it off while bending over the engine, I decided I needed this. Went to sears and picked it up. With these tools the bolt went on in a fraction of the time. Must have for a mechanic.

These are very nice spanners for the money. The picture is misleading, because it shows the USA made Professional series wrenches, and these are not, as far as I can tell, USA made. Finish is very good, and the fit to bolts is quite good, though not quite on par with the craftsman Professional series. I still highly reccomend these, though. For the serious hobbyist or on-a-budget professional, these are very good tools. 4.5 stars

After working in a friend's garage with long handle Snap-On wrenches, I realized how much the extra leverage helped and went online to order a set for myself. When I saw their price, I said forget it, but after a little searching on this site, I was quite pleased to find this set. I saw that my local Sears had a set in stock and bought them right away. I've been extremely pleased with this set after six months of use. These polished, made in the USA, long-handle wrenches are every bit as good as the Snap-On's for a fraction of the price. What a tremendous value!

bought these wrenches to allow me to get into tighter areas where i need the leverage. they are about 2" longer than a stander wrench allowing for better leverage.
