Craftsman  9 pc. Standard 12 pt. Combination Wrench Set

This is a nice basic wrench set. The picture is deceiving in that it did not come with a wrench holder.

Craftsman tools are strong and durable for any task.

The wrenches seem to be high quality, as I would expect, but the object that looks like a wrench holder in the picture is just a way to display the wrenches before sale, while prevent them from being stolen. Once the security device is removed, the case is useless! What a waste. And, you end up with no case.

Tools of good quality, a wrench size in the sequence was skipped.  The individual price for the skipped wrench makes this package a bad deal.

I had a metric set for at least ten years with no problems and never lost a wrench, I was not happy that the new sets from sears are not like pictured with the wrench holder, now it is a security device trash tray that doesn't hold the wrench tight.

I buy my son-in-law Craftsman products for Christmas every year and he absolutely loves them as much as I do. This Combination Wrench Set comes in handy more than what a person would think. My Grandson uses these to tinker on his bike. My daughter uses them too. Great product. This set comes with every size a person would possibly need. Durable and high quality!

Craftsman wrenches have always been quality tools, but the set I bought was just not up to the usual craftsman standards. First the online picture can be mis-leading due to the fact that the picture shown displays the wrenches in a wrench holder which is not included with the wrench set. I bought these to have extra wrenches or two of each size. I have been using some older williams, proto, and indestro wrenches that I would like to stop using because they are antique tools. Upon opening the package, I first noticed that some of the wrenches were not ground down enough after the forging process and left a lot of extra metal on the sides. It does not affect function, but it does affect comfort. The finish on the tools do not seem to be as high of quality as my older craftsman wrenches of the same type. They could be a little longer by maybe 3/4 to one  inch, especially the smaller sized wrenches. This would give them better balance in your hand and better leverage when torquing down fasteners and removing fasteners. Craftsman needs to go  back to the drawing board on these and then I would give them 5 stars like most craftsman tools are. The open end could be better made in order to fit snuggly on fasteners. There is some play.I thought about returning the wrenches that were not ground properly, but for the price and the lifetime warranty, I will live with it and if they ever fail, I will then return them. Just hope Craftsman has not gone completely China by then. That is one of the main reasons I buy Craftsman Tools USA made on most hand tools. I would recommend these wrenches to anyone, just make sure you inspect them carefully. Hope they get a redesign soon. I would buy some more. These wrenches will satisfy most homeowners and moderate wrench users. So head on over to Sears and get some Craftsman Tools and a set of these wrenches as well.

I purchased a 9 piece set of Craftsman 12 pt. combo wrenches.  The wrenches are Craftsman, so for anybody familiar with handtools, very little needs to be said.  The wrenches are outstanding!!  And I challenge anyone, anywhere, to beat the price I paid.  Nearly every handtool I own is Craftsman.  I've never been disappointed with Craftsman, and I don't expect to be with these wrenches either.  Sears, you have a great product.         

These wrench's work great as they should but when i got them home and took them out of the package i was not very amused to see that the 3/4 had rust on the back side of it.
