I was in Sears today and saw this sitting on the shelf for 50% off and started thinking about all the sandpaper packs I have all over my shop and just how nice it would be to have them all in one spot. Well, I now know, it's nice!
While I'm not 100% sure when and where I'll use 40 grit sandpaper, I do know there is a lot of room in there for the fifty sheets I got with this pack and the extra sheets I already had on hand.
The portfolio part of this deal is the real key to all of it and the fact that it is black with white lettering spelling out the Craftsman name is just plain cool!
It is a good value on sandpaper that cannot be disbute, especially if you got this for 10$ as I did. The Problem with this product is the portfolio. The portfolio cannot properlly hold the sandpaper that it comes with let alone anymore you have laying around. this primarlly comes from the fact that the bottom is only 1 inch and everywhere else above this point expands. The top will open up to about 6.5 inches wide. This product would be infinitelly better if the bottom expanded as well, then the functionallity would make this a real value. I am now however off to a office supply store to see if I can find a sutiable replacement.

I have bought sandpaper for over 30 years. When I was at sears the other day, I saw this pack and it looked handy. Well...I got around to using it and all I can say is that it is WITHOUT DOUBT the lowest quality sandpaper I have ever used. The grit bond is terrible, and the paper is brittle. Rips the minute you look at it. Absolute garbage. Shame on you sears!

I bought this for my husband since it was only $10. My son was jealous because it was such a great idea, a great deal, and a great assortment of sandpaper. My son bought it after Christmas for $15 and he felt like he got a great deal too. No more sandpaper to attack them in the tool box.
