Craftsman  95 pc. Easy Read Impact Socket Set, 6 pt., 3/8 & 1/2 in. Dr.

I ordered this set over all the others I was looking at because of the Craftsman reputation alone. I was very disappointed when it arrived to find that the set did not include a case. All of the other compairable brands/sets I considered had cases.

comprehensive set, well made, I am very happy with this set. needs a few add on's to be complete. comes as a mess in a box.

The socets are great, they aren't as easy to read as you would expect being called easy read, but they are a pretty decent set for the money. I have used about every single socket so far at work and haven't had any problems yet.

The packaging was treated pretty roughly during shipment, and i'm not quite sure whoever put my order together understood the concept of a box, but c'mon they're tools they can take a beating. It took a while to organize, and with this many socket's you'll surely want some kind of socket rack. Also each socket comes covered in some sort of oil or powder that will make a mess of anything light colored- fair words of warning my carpet will never be the same.

Good to have those impact socket to work on my car.

These impact sockets are amazing for 3 reasons. Durability: these sockets are almost indestructible, I have yet to break one, even the exstenstion and swivel sockets have yet to break after much abuse. Cost: compared to other brands these are more or less dead center of the line. CP sells a set 2 pieces smaller then this one through sears that is the same price, BUT there is no lifetime warranty. You pay for a quality product AND get a FOREVER warranty which is just awesome. Warranty: Its indomitable, the only company that can say INDOMITABLE. No ifs ands or butts about it you get your new tool when you break it. They are extremely simple to read and surfaced in a cast iron style for a good grip and sustainable finish. The set comes with every impact you will ever need for most applications. Ive put the 3/8 stuff on an exstenstion and then put it on my 1/2 impact at 500 ft lbs and didnt even dent the sockets. Id gladly buy again and I suggest you do the same.

These impact sockets are super strong use them every day at work on trucks and cars you save a lot if you just buy this set rather than buying them in small sets they are very easy to read all so

I do most of the automotive work on my cars and have built a couple of muscle cars. After much knuckle busting, this purchase is long overdue. Though not inexpensive, the quality and lifetime warranty made the bang for my buck difficult to dispute. Rather than piece meal socket purchases (a costly venture), I chose Craftsman's most complete impact set. No regrets. Now, lets get to work!

I bought these Craftsman sockets to work on Class 8 trucks and I use these with a the most powerful 1/2 drive impact on the market. I'm still yet to break a socket. Very good value, for a mechanic starting out these are a must.
