When I took this out of the box, I thought that this would be over-kill for what I would be doing. But the more I worked with this, the more I liked what a big helper this is for large panels or long pieces of wood.

Wonderful tool with three major faults, three small plastic parts that should have been metal for the price I paid. I bought three and I opened one and two plastic parts were broke. I opend the second one, one plastic part was broke. I call the Sears Store and asked could they send me the plastic parts instead of bringing them back because the cost of gas and the distance I had to drive to carry them back. They told me I had to bring tem back and we would check the others before I left the store. I told them I would bring them back and get a refund and go to ***** and by some Kobalt product. Since I needed them the day I bought them I went ahead and put two of them together and made the parts I needed. I will carry the third one back because like I said they are a fine tool with a few cheap parts.

I like this tool becausse it is level to the ground. I use this to help plane wood evenly. I like the durbility of this tool. I like that it folds up to take the least amount of space. Cons; must fold carefully it will fold unevenly. dosent quite extend to my band saw height. Overall I would recomend this product to others because it makes my life a lot easier.

I bought this at a Sears Tent Sale so the value for the price was great. No problem with assembly and seems quite sturdy. One latch release was broken when I opened the box but the local parts center said they would order one on warranty. (A nightmare for them; the correct model number is not stamped on the tool or on the manual. Correct model # is 695.22268) The stand adjusts readily and locks well but I'm always concerned when I find plastic handles; have noticed a crack in one lock handle already. Rollers move freely and material glides across the stand well. Works great for tablesaw outfeed.

I'll use it regularly as an outfeed with the table saw or to catch the scrap when cutting sheet goods off sawhorses. Makes for a simpler and safer cut. It's a very sturdy unit that is easy to set up and adjust; folds up quickly for easy storage.
