Overall

Poorly made

regulator started leaking after 1 day housing felt flimsy. Wish sears would quit buying these products from china. Would of had no problem paying more for an american made product.

Overall

Great home use regulator

I bought this regulator recently to attached to my 3 gallon compressor to use with a finish nailer and floor stapler for a home install. I wanted to make sure I had consistent pressure to those tools. Based on the Craftsman Kids review i bought this product because it appeared to be exactly what i needed for a home use application. It worked perfectly. Would recommend to a friend.

If i could have one suggestion it might be an oiler/filter assembly recommendation to use with this regulator.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

This gauge and regulator are fine for the typical home user.

Disregard Bigfig's 1-star review which implied there was important information missing from the product description. The compressor HP rating is irrelevant. This is a pressure gauge and regulator combination, and therefore, the only required product information is size of inlet/outlet NPT's, flow capacity (CFM), and pressure rating (psi). This product is more than adequate for the typical home user. Unless you're a professional mechanic or auo body specialist, I would recommend this product.

Overall

Important information missing from description.

The online picture looks very much like the one on my Craftsman compressor. However, when I picked it up, it says the maximum rated compressor power is 1 HP. My compressor is 3.5 HP. THere is nothing in the description, that I saw, that says this.

Also, I have been unable to find one at my local Sears store or at sears.com that will fit my compressor. There are some big ones, but not suitable for my compressor. I'm looking elsewhere for a replacement.
