HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I bought these last year, '08, and have used them commercially on a regular basis and haven't had any trouble out of them. They perform flawlessly and have excellent leverage, snapping larger branches with ease. I've done lot's of crape myrtle's with the greatest of ease. They give a clean precise cut everytime. Only had to give the blade a quick touch up once.

What happened to Craftsman?
I have not yet used this tool to cut anything, but this tool is described to make the customer feel as if it is sturdy and durable. This used to be the Craftsman image. As soon as I pulled these lopping shears out of the plastic I noticed that they are made in China. The "strong" carbon fiber handles flex and make a cracking noise when pressure is applied to them. I'm sure they work as well as other made in China shears, but shame on you Sears and Craftsman. And sure they have the Craftsman lifetime warranty, but how long will Sears be in business to replace them considering their entire line now consists of products like this?

These lopping shears are easy to use. I am able to reach high places with these shears. My husband loves to do yardwork with these. I really recommended them.

Strong tool

It is very strong and sturdy tool. I bought it to cut off dried branches from the trees. It worked perfectly for small branches and bushes.
