One month ago, I bought the 4-stroke weed trimmer to avoid mixing fuel and oil, and immediately decided to purchase the edger attachment for my sidewalks. The ability to switch out the head was very appealing. Now, I have picked up the hedge trimmer attachment for my shrubs. I couldn't be happier. I have 3 quality yard tools that take up minimal space beyond the single weed trimmer. Prices were also reasonable for the 2 additional heads. Time will tell but I believe this to be a great purchase for my weekly yard chores.
I've been trimming my privets with an electric hedge trimmer for years. I've managed to shorten my electric cord about 5 times & spend 5 hours each time I trim(at least 4 times a season). Using the hedge trimmer with the 3' extension added, I can do it all in 1 1/2 hours. It makes it way easy. Setting up & taking apart the trimmer is about as simple as it can get.
I have bushes in the front yard that every year I have to trim at least twice a year. I would trim them manually. That would take me over 3 hours to completely trim these bushes. I bought the Hedge Trimmer Attachment which was a greatest and best investment for a time saver for me. It took less than a hour to trim the bushes
Like others who have purchased this. I have an Electric Trimmer for the low stuff, but have the Universal Gas Trimmer that's dedicated to Trimming and Cultivating. The Trimmer is a Beast that works very well in either direction. The only thing I will say is it does get heavy after a while. People who don't think this works well or doesn't cut 3/4" material need to realize the Weed Eater Engine's piston is just a little guy and it takes a lot of power to make the Trimmer cut the heavier material. It's is a good Accessory to have.

It is easier to handle than I thought it would be. Compared to this trimmer, other trimmers are like trimming with a pair of scissors. Highly recommend!
