I have never been a big fan of multi-bit drivers the pieces fall out, get lost, dropped into places you cant get them. Or you simply cant find the right bit. This device is great and I love it. I can simply change a bit with one hand. It makes a great tool to throw in the glove box of your car and is a gift every guy would be glade to have. Watch this product it goes on sale and is worth every penny.
After only a couple of months of "normal" usage, this screwdriver was already in need of a two new Phillips head bits. I am almost positive, the packaging said that it could be customized using different bits. Now since I had a package of new Phillips "standard size bits", I popped out the two bad ones and put in the new bits. Well after using it two times, the bits began to either jam inside and not come out, or they would not fully drop down in the chamber when retracted, staying in the upper chamber and causing them to pop out the next bit you selected. As stated, the replacement bits I used were "standard size bits". Perhaps you can customize it using only Craftsman approved bits. Needless to say, every time I go to use it now, either something jams up, or does not in some way load, or re-load worth a damn. Bottom line is, this driver consists of 99% plastic parts, mechanisms, and is not made to last like most other Craftsman products. Sure, I could return it for another, or something else, and that doesn't concern me as much as, if it were a quality product, I wouldn't have to waste my time "needing " to return it in the first place?
I personally do not recommend thus product, and I hope there isn't more like this from Craftsman on the way!

I got this tool for my work, where I was constantly going back to my tool bag to get a different screwdriver or allen wrench for my field service job. With the 6 bits available for this driver I had all the tools I needed for 90% of the work I needed to be doing. I bought custom bits to suit my needs, and replaced most of the bits that came with the driver. Very easy to change the bits and the magnetic tip both held the screw in place on the bit as well as held the bit in place. I have used it regularly for about 1 year with no problems. Very durable and easy to use.
I bought one of these last year and introduced it to my work crew. Heck, the boss went out and bought a few for the team. I just so happened to have lost mine down a vent and needed another...so I bought another! This is (in my opinion) the best thing that ever happened to a screwdriver.

I bought this for my husband, two sons and son-in-law for Christmas. They were amazed at how easy it was to use. It took the place of several kinds of screwdrivers.
