Bought 2 of these. One for a grinder and put a plywood top on the other and attatched my vise to it. Works very well. I also cut out a piece of plywood to fit inside on the leg supports to act as a shelf for some extra storage. I'm very happy I bought these.
got this for Xmas along with the Craftsman 1/6 hp 6'' Bench Grinder with Lamp (21124). Put them both together today and VOILA....THE GRINDER DOESN'T FIT ON THIS STAND (bolt holes do not line up)!!! In-freakin-credible. Typical Sears!

Easy assembly..fairly sturdy design. The only issue is the stand is 2 inches to narrow (1 inch side to side) to mount a standard Craftsmen Bench Top Grinder on. Had to adapt a section of 3/8 steel and attach it to the Grider stand then attach that assembly to the stand. Do not purchase if you expect this to work with any Craftsmen Bench Top Grinder.

The price was more than right. One of the most impulsive purchases I've made and so glad I did. I just moved and left my last stand bolted to the wall of my shop. I could not find the right place in my new shop and the stand was the right answer. I wish it was about 4 inches taller, but no big deal.

It was easy to put together and very solid to use with the top put on it and the grinder attached to it! i needed to have my power tools where they were up level and easy to use and this is great!

When I first opened the box I didnt think the stand was going to be that good. After putting it together I was suprised at how durible and study the stand was. Overall a good product.

Be careful when tightening, I used my screw gun and a couple screws snapped. Instructions were very basic but the top plates won't line up if you install it in the wrong order.

This stand is a great way to save space on your benchtop if you have floor space for the stand. It was easy to assemble and my Craftsman 6" bench grinder fit right on top. I have only two improvements I would make. First, I would have made it taller so its more comfortable to grind standing up. Second, I would include lock washers for all the assembly bolts. A bench grinder naturally vibrates a lot due to the grinding wheels not being perfectly balanced, over the lifetime of the grinder/stand I anticipate having to retighten the bolts due to lack of lock washers.
