Bench top stand
This bench top stand is exactly as advertized and is useful for most bench top tools. I have added a top (3/4 plywood) and a shelf (3/4 plywood) which thoroughly stiffens the application. I have modified the foot pads as such: I used two-inch 3/8" threaded, locking, 80-lb casters which thread into the hole in the pad. Use a 1/2 inch-1 1/2 washer on the bottom side of the pad and a 3/8 inch- 1 1/2 washer on the top of the pad. Secure with a lock washer and nut. Re-install the pad to the bottom of the legs and secure the pad with two 10 x 1/2" Hex sheet metal screws in each side of the leg. Total modification time= 1 hour. Total cost= $ 25.00

Weak
The metal is too thin, flexible and week. The heads of the screws strip out when you try to tighten them with the Phillips. The 'plastic' feet provide no strength to the legs and the metal bolt feet just push up into them when a load is placed on the stand. This is a good design that has been watered down and cheapened to the extent it is mostly useless. It needs two wooden shelves (top and mid-layer) just square up the frame.

Structure okay

The structural quality of the stand is good. The 32 screw type bolts are of poor quality. When tightening, the Phillips head strips out. Tried with a power driver and a manual screwdriver with the same results.

Sturdy workbench

I really like this workbench. Assembly would have been easier with help, a lot of nuts and bolts to tighten, but came out really nice. It is sturdy (when assembled correctly) and fits nicely into my garage workshop. I put an MDF top on it and painted that black... looks really sharp.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Bench Top Tool Stand

I have given this stand a 4 star rating although I have found it a bit shaky. I believe that if I had connected the legs with more overlap it would be very stable.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Bench Top Tool Stand

It was easy to setup, all hardware was included and there were no damage parts in the shipment. The metal is kind of flimsy but putting a table to the top and bottom gave it support. It's okay.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Excellent

I bought two of these stands, and after installing 3/4" plywood to the top and mid-shelf of both stands, they were more than sturdy enough for tool mounting. I then bolted the completed stands to HTC universal mobile bases and mounted a 12" drill press to one and a 10" bandsaw to the other. The results can be summed up in word... awesome. I plan on buying two more stands (and HTC bases) for my bench sander sander and router table because of the sturdiness and adjustability I get from this set-up.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Pretty good stand

Overall, a pretty good stand. Could stand to be a little heaver gauge steel. I made plywood shelves for both the top and bottom which removed the flex from the product. Wish the feet were steel rather than plastic so wheels could be attached easily. I had to make my own brackets to do this. Otherwise, it serves the purpose.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
