Great shovel, metal edge did not last too long
got smart this year and bought a shovel before I actually needed it so that I had a choice of some half decent ones. Used it a couple times so far and I am happy with it for the price I paid. The metal edge is already showing signs of moderate wear. I wished they would use a better grade metal.

Craftsman bent handle shovel
I bought one of these Jan 2011. It broke Feb 6th. I brought it back to get my replacement (craftsman lifetime warranty) They are telling me they are all out of shovels and can not get any more delivered. I didn't save the receipt because I live a mile from sears and I have always just brought the broken craftsman item in, and walked out with a brand new one. Now, they think I am going to settle with store credit. BBB time I guess. Be for warned. Sears isn't what it used to be (Craftsman replacement wise).

A good shovel if you have back pain problem

This is a good shovel to use and it will ease up your back pain. However, the bent handle is not easy to shore it in a tight space. Also, the price is comparably higher than the others in the market.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Even I could use the snow shovel

The shovel is fairly light weight and with its ergonomic shape it was easy for me to use, even though I am quite short (5'1"). The edge worked well to scrape up the ice that had hardened on the driveway.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Survived the Blizzard of 2011

I am from Michigan and this is my second season with this shovel. I absolutely love it. Very durable, fits in the trunk of my car, and is guaranteed if something breaks. It also is easier on my back than a straight handle shovel.

TIME for an update: before the end of the season, the shovel broke. Half of the "scoop" broke and sears was out of stock for replacement shovels.

Rating drops from a 5 to a 3 star.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman Snow Shovel Works Great

This shovel seems to be very well made. We have been shoveling snow with it all winter. It has not broken yet, and it has a warranty, so Sears will replace it if it does ever break. This is a good value. You can buy a cheaper shovel, but this one you will only have to buy once.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman ergonomic snow shovel is lightweight

The ergonomic feature is great. I wish the shovel was a little wider and did not have the sides. Also when trying to turn over to knock off stuck snow the shovel would work against you and try to right itself.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Average Life Expectancy=1 week

I broke three of these shovels in the matter of a few weeks.  Each time, they broke in the same place: the top bend of the handle.  Of course, Sears replaced it for free each time, but it was still a huge nuisance.
