I have the bolt on with all attachments. I love the bolt on -- great idea -- however, I hate the router attachment. The drill does not spin fast enough to do the job as a router. I tried the router and completely destroyed the project I was working on. Because of the low RPM, the router jumped and grabbed. I thought it was the bits, which cost quite a bit more than the attachment, but I had my buddy try the bits with his router and he said they were great bits. I asked him to try the bolt on router and after just a short try he laughed and said it could never work as a router. Ok, I am not experienced at a router, but someone experienced with a router laughed at this. Anyone want to buy this for half price? Going to send to local Goodwill and buy a regular router for my project
Worked pretty well for simple door hinge routing, you do have to purchase a router bit separately. In contrast to other reviews, I thought that it did have enough RPM for the pine I was routing. If I get deeper into woodworking, I'll buy a standalone router, but until then this Bolt On will do just fine!

When I discovered that this router did not include any router bits, I decided to return it. It looked like it would be OK for small jobs but if I have to also buy router bits, I will buy a full-sized, corded router.
The craftsman bolt on router attachment is the most versatile router for everyday and advanced woodworking. The compact design of the attachment allows for effortless intricate cuts and designs as well as a compact lightweight tool. Changing the bits is simple and quick and the power backed by the 20volt bolt on system gives the user effortless cuts!
this is a nice little router, and the Craftsman Bolt-on drill combo works well with it. I have tried using this router for some detailed work, but had to go back to a standard router to get the job done right. And you do Not get a router bit with this item, thought you should know.
