The bag does not have compartments specific to the tool components. At the very least there should be a custom pocket for the charger, the battery and the tool itself. A great design would include a molded pocket for every available attachment and a spare battery. The bag will contain the tool and a few accessories but is so generic that the contents slop around. It appears that the designers of the bag had not been provided the tool system in advance.
ANY tool box, cardboard box, bag or compound bucket would perform as well as the Craftsman Bolt-On Bag. A pity.

The bag itself is strong but the hardware loops at the bag and the clips on the handle are light plastic. After loading this bag with attachments one side failed immediately. I replaced with metal carabiner to correct. I suggest they be built that way to begin with. Craftsman does not offer warranty on bags or tool boxes so it was mute to take it back for replacement that would do the same thing. Bags can be had for less then the cost of this item. I thought it would be a "special" bag for the Bolt On system but it was not. Just a standard bag with the name imprinted is all.

This bag has a ton of different sized pockets which could be used for almost any application. However since it is a "Bolt-On" bag, I expected the pockets to be set up to hold specific "Bolt-On" accessories. I have been able to adapt it to handle my "Bolt-On" tools so I think it will work out fine.
