They have changed these connectors recently. They no long look like the gilmour units in the photo, but more like orbit's design. They do have an auto shutoff now compared to the old design so they might work differently. I am not sure if they will work well with the older units as well. It would be nice if Sears would keep photos current and maybe give the item a new sku to prevent confusion.

I have purchased two of these sets, did the online to in-store pick-up. the item is not same as pictured, it comes with a plastic grip instead of the soft silicone pictured. overall, i use my pressure washer alot but again, people share the water outlets at my place so i must be respectful and share it as well. you will only need two complete set and the rest you can just purchase addtiona male connectors for additonal tools. so far there is no leaks and the connection is still tight. the built-in cut off is great because you can keep the pressure on while connecting different tools. i would recommend it for anyone due to the convenience and how easy to clean up and it saves time.

These quick dis-connect fittings for the garden hose are great! They allow the nozzle to swivel so the hose will not kink up. The only thing I dont like about them is that you have to turn the water off if you want to switch nozzles, if you dont water goes everywhere. The nozzles are tuff to get off and on at first, Im guessing its because its new and needs to be broke in a little.

These are a higher quality and heavier duty than the comparable items found at ********** and ****** and you can feel the difference when you pick them up. They are feel heavier and feel like more of a quality item than the others at other stores which feel lightweight and inferior in comparison and the price is about equal. I installed these with teflon pipe thread tape for a good seal and no leak connection. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is that when I tightened the female portion on my water faucet on the house, the male counterpart was difficult to put on and take off. I found this to be because I had overtightened the female part and the nipple on the male part was hitting the faucet inside the female connector before the spring and ball connection could click. This was corrected by backing off the female connection on the faucet a bit and then it was fine. This can leak then if it is not a tight connection no matter how much teflon tape is used. This could however be a problem with the faucet itself not having ample threads for a good connection and not these connectors at all. Another option would be to grind down the male nipple portion so there is more room inside to make the connection and still have the female connector tight on the house faucet.
