Gets the job done
The brush cutter attachment for my trimmer overall does a good job. It was very easy to attach to the trimmer. Once I had it attached, I started the trimmer and began to cut brush. When you first pull the trigger, it wobbles a bit and is loud, but once it gets up to speed, it levels out and works well. I began just trying to cut one piece of small brush at a time. I was trying to use it like a chainsaw. It worked, but took some time. Then I began using it like a trimmer. I began using a swinging motion from side to side to sweep the area I was cutting. This was very effective. It took down every piece of brush in its way on the first try. Other than it being a lit wobbly in the beginning, I think this is a great attachment. It has saved me a lot if time. I would recommend this for anyone looking to clear out some brush.

Brush Cutter
This attchment gives a slight vibration upon initial engagement. I had expected more cutting capability with this attachement, don't expect do cut down brush over a quarted inch without some added pressure to get through it. If the blade that come with this unit was like a saw blade it would be much better.

Bushwhacker

This machine didn't meet my expectation. It stated that it will save you time but the only time it saved me was from breaking the machine.

Whacked

I like this attachment. It allowed me to cut down yards in 20 minutes. Unlike the regular edger, were I had to continuously change the line costing me extra time to waste.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The attachment pin SUCKS -but great brush cutter

I purchased this and used it for about 6 months before the attachment retaining pin broke. The button portion just sheared off. The unit continued to work great, but would turn in circles. When I spoke with Sears about it, they replaced it no questions asked! That's customer Service and the reason that I will continue to purchase nothing but Sears branded items!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Better than I thought

When you buy this make sure you buy a grinder as well because they forgot to sharpen the blade. After you sharpen the blade it is an awesome tool.

Works fine

works great on even stems around 1 inch thick. Great for trimming or removing overly grown rose bushes and other weeds. Takes an extra couple of seconds to cut through thicker bushes. You have to be very careful when you work in gravel or areas with small stones or rocks.. The power depends on your craftsman weed wacker. Mine is I believe 25 cc and it still does a decent job.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
