Product Description

Brushcutter Attachment Makes Yard Work Simple, Efficient, and Stress Free

You don't know how easy lawn maintenance can be until you pick up the Craftsman brushcutter attachment. It allows you to add some serious muscle to your current trimmer. The attachment cuts through thick growth that regular line trimmers struggle to handle. With the compatibility to attach to many attachment-capable gas trimmers, you'll actually getting two tools for the price of one. Tackle dense weeds and brush with the four cutting edges of the eight-inch steel blade. You'll also appreciate the heightened handling and control that you get while cutting, thanks to the J-handle.

The brushcutter attachment is a solid addition to any set of landscaping tools. Whether you have a small yard that requires minimal weekly maintenance or a large yard with endless brush management, you'll be glad to have this trimmer convertible attachment. You won't even have to worry about storing and maintaining the attachment properly because it comes with its own storage hook.

No substitute for chain saw
I would recommend this pruner with one caveat - it is not going to substitute for a chain saw. I bought the pruner because the box said it would cut limbs up to 6" thick. But after opening the box, the instructions warn that it cuts limbs up to only 4" thick. My pruner is now stuck in the middle of a 4" limb that fell the wrong way, jamming the pruner in the cut. The only way to remove the pruner is with a chain saw. This pruner is fine for cutting small limbs, but leave the bigger jobs to a chainsaw.

Bushwhacker

This machine didn't meet my expectation. It stated that it will save you time but the only time it saved me was from breaking the machine.

Whacked

I like this attachment. It allowed me to cut down yards in 20 minutes. Unlike the regular edger, were I had to continuously change the line costing me extra time to waste.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The attachment pin SUCKS -but great brush cutter

I purchased this and used it for about 6 months before the attachment retaining pin broke. The button portion just sheared off. The unit continued to work great, but would turn in circles. When I spoke with Sears about it, they replaced it no questions asked! That's customer Service and the reason that I will continue to purchase nothing but Sears branded items!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Better than I thought

When you buy this make sure you buy a grinder as well because they forgot to sharpen the blade. After you sharpen the blade it is an awesome tool.

Works fine

works great on even stems around 1 inch thick. Great for trimming or removing overly grown rose bushes and other weeds. Takes an extra couple of seconds to cut through thicker bushes. You have to be very careful when you work in gravel or areas with small stones or rocks.. The power depends on your craftsman weed wacker. Mine is I believe 25 cc and it still does a decent job.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Excellent Brush Cutter

Bought this item to cut heavy shrubbery growth in the back yard. Very easy to connect to my Craftsman universal motor and this tool easily cut the shrubs at ground level in less than 20 min. The blade is durable and looks like it will last for a long time. It cuts roots about 1/2"-3/4" round without any problem. Happy with purchase and highly recommend this item.

Speed your Fall Clean-up

This optional attachment attached easily to our Craftsman string trimmer. In preparation for Winter, using the attachment to cut back the various types of perineal foliage and decorative greenery surrounding our home was a breeze to do!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Outstanding item

Attachment was purchased to replace one I wore out. Cannot be more pleased with the ease of installation or the performance of the attachment. Cuts thru brush and small trees up to 3 inches with ease. I only wish I could sharpen the blades instead of replacing them.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
