It's all in the batteries
The portability and being able to use standard size 7 1/4 blades are the real assets of this saw. It is good for quick jobs when using the NiCad batteries but with most saws they drain fairly quickly. The Li-Ion batteries make this saw exceptionally useful especially when power outlets are nowhere near the job. I have used it to build an observation stand and fence with all PT lumber using the Li-Ion battery and it performed witout a problem. Nearest outlet for a corded saw was over 300' away. As part of the C3 platform this is definately a must buy. I would only give it 4 stars with the NiCad batteries due to the drain rate but the Li-Ions definately upgrade this saw.

Not bad, but not good
It's a pretty good saw, and being cordless, it can be pretty handy if you're away from an outlet. It drains batteries really fast, so if you're planning on making more than two or three cuts at any given time, you'll need a pickup load of batteries or a saw that plugs in.

C3 19.2 Volt 7-1/4" Circular Saw with Laser

This Circular Saw works very well. It is very quiet, and it is easy to change blades. The laser works extremely well in keeping the saw on a straight line.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Could Be Better

On the heavy side and battery life not as I expected. Like the laser though. Will stick with the corded saw for now. Small generator better option when outdoors.

Not a bad saw, but doesn't compare to a corded saw!

This saw is not bad for making a few cuts on 7/16" OSB, but you will have to have a lithium battery to do it! Saw is good for making cuts on a few 2x4's and a ton of furing strips. Nothing beats a corded saw, but for the money, not a bad buy.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great circular saw

I needed to make some quick shelves for a closet. This helped rip the boards easily without all the hassle of running a cord. I love the C3 line. Only one power brick to keep charged

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great

Not a replacement for a corded saw, but a good alternate for quick jobs. Uses 7.25" blade, cuts 45deg thru 2by. I was surpised by how straight I could cut with just the laser. Bevel and depth adjustments work well. Comfortable grip. Very happy.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

C3 19.2 volt 7-1/4" Circular Saw with Laser

A full charged battery only lasts me 10 minutes. It took half an hour to charge the battery than go back to work.

Great saw but a little power hunrgy

I really like this saw but it is a little power hungry.  I am thinking  about buying a lithium battery for this.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

C3 Circular Saw

Nice saw that takes care of small tasks. Uses alot of juice but makes nice, sharp cuts on those small projects. Laser is nice added touch, once calibrated makes tasks a little quicker. All in all, love the C3 battery powered line of products - no more cords!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

C3 circular saw a DIY delight

This saw is quiet and powerful. For the home repair guy or do it yourselfer, it is a must. The laser sight is very helpful (although invisible in full sunlight). The convenience of no cord is great. The right side mounted motor takes some getting used to but allows better view of the saw blade at the cut line. I used this saw to build my garage and it made great cuts, easily slicing through 2x4, 2x6 and 2x12 lumber. Easy adjustjments for blade depth and bevels. The trigger lock is awkward.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
