On one charge I removed 2 aluminum rims, 2 front struts and spring assembly on my car after I removed 1 aluminum wheel and the 2 struts I needed in the junkyard. Charged the battery to be safe (less than 30 minutes by the way) and assembled my front end. When done I checked the torque with the torque wrench and the impact was a consistent 175-180 ft lbs. I could have gone to the full 200 torque but was more than happy with it's performance. As for pulling off the aluminum wheels DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION!!! You loose a lot of torque using one. With just a socket it can blast those lugs off like no tomorrow. I bought this to do my front struts because I have lost almost all my strength due to muscular dis trophy and still REFUSE to pay a shop any amount of my hard earned money!! Fantastic tool and great design! I highly recommend this tool if you are disabled and still want to work on your own vehicles!!

I finally got this for my 19.2 set when it went on sale and am glad I got it. So far it's helped me out with tire rotations on 2 vehicles by letting me avoid messing around with the air compressor/impact wrench. Even though the battery it comes with is NiCd it is good enough to power drills and this wrench. Overall, it's a good tool and seems to be built better than the cheap ones you get at HF.
Purchased this mainly for removing lug nuts but it has saved me in a number of tight spots with stuck bolts. So far the battery is holding up well and one charge is more than enough for my needs. Can remove 3 cars worth of lug nuts no problem.
This tool has performed well for me. Removing lug nuts, lawn mower blades and other stuburn bolts. It only has 200 Ft. lbs. of torque so it may not remove very large or rusted bolts/nuts. A professional mechanic will not be satisfied with this for that very reason. I will say the battery life if a bit short of what I would like. Hence the 4 stars. If they sit for a month or so they need to be recharged so you get the full power of the tool. Those complaining that it can't remove their wheel lug nuts should recharge the batteries overnight. If it still does not work they may have a bad battery or their lug nuts were over torqued and or rusted. For the price this is a nice addition to the home owners collection.
I work at a dealership and buy alot of craftsman tools. Its alot cheaper than the tool trucks and use to be just as good. This gun is rated at 200lbs but couldn't remove a 80lb lug nut. Im really disappointed in the quality of tools craftsman been putting out lately. I guess its back to the trucks I go.
The phrase, "..let the tool do the job" applies here. I've always been a Craftsman's guy well this tool makes it very easy for an old guy to get it done. It makes heavily torqued nuts and bolts a breeze to take off. I'm really liking this cordless impact!
