Craftsman  C3 19.2-volt Cordless Impact Driver 17080

I bought this impact a couple months ago, i work full time as a professional automotive technician, and it has really worked well for me it gets the job done when i need it too...not sure it lives up to its full potential of 125 ft-lbs of torque but it still is a very nice tool, here recently i have had a few accidental drops where it dropped so hard it bounced a couple times and the battery pack came out of it other than the few little scratches it has taken from that the tool casing hasnt cracked nor has the casing for the battery i would definately say it more than compares to anything more expensive, maybe a little bulky compared to the Makita lineup but it definately will run with makita in my opinion it is alot more durable than makita with the bigger battery and the fact that it holds up well under abuse.............

Being a mechanic, this is a great tool for those tough bolts.

Im a pro machianic and bought this tool because of a tight budget. But I am very happy with the impact. I under estimated it and snaped the first bolt i put it on. I use the XCP on all my C3 tools and would not have it any other way.

My favorite tool! ton of power and easy to use. I've been seeing these on tv and magazines, so decided to buy one for the deck I built. Now I use it with everything! I love I never strip any screws or bits now. Fits in tight spaces and doesn't weigh much. Works with my C3 i already have, and recently got a Lithium battery, so Power is there all the time. . It is just so nice, everything is easy now.

My husband gets these a lot as part of his work and he says they're great.

driver works great and is a very handy cordless tool to have in your tool arsenal.

I purchased this tool because it was packaged with a lighter weight drill and a lithium battery for a price I haven't seen since.  I would never have considered purchasing a small impact driver.  It has proven so handy on  the small farm conditions to which it is subjected.  I can easily carry the impact and the accompanying light weight drill/driver to a small repar need and not have to drag the compressor & cord plus tools & hose.  The locking mechanism holds bits much better than the magnetic holder holds bits.  The torque of the VSR drivers tend to wedge bits into the magnetic holder, especially with the 3" sheet rock screws.  This isn't a problem.  It easily handles 5/16" lag bolts if a pilot hole is drilled first.  Rarely does a single repair require more power than contained in a pair of compact lithium batteries.

This tool is fantastic!1 I install windows and doors for a major company that begins with a L here in florida which means I am driving screws in concrete everyday all day. This tool won't quit, I just keep buying batteries and it keeps running. I have now changed over to the extended lithium ion batteries and it got even better. I have tried other brands but none hold a candle to this one! Also it has a led light which points very nicely at the work, you would be surprised how helpful this is at times. This tool is now 2 1/2 years old and as a contractor I will buy another and recommend these to anyone for any use.

The Craftsman C3 19.2 volt Impact Driver is the most useful tool I have ever owned. It has an amazing 3,500 impacts per minute, 2,500 RPM and a mind-blowing 1,605 inch pounds of torque, I havent found a screw that this tool couldn't handle. It also features a built in LED work light, on tool bit storage, an ergonomic grip, and a 1/4 inch keyless chuck. I have owned this impact driver for almost a year now and used it to build a deck, a garage, a fence, a trough, and much more. Every one should own this tool.

Much better for driving long or large screw and bolts into hard materials. Every DIYer needs this!
