Another Complimentary and Useful Tool from the C3 Family!

Having a Craftsman 25 gallon air compressor in the workshop with a 100ft 3\8" hose reel has seemed the way to go when maintaining our auto tires. However, pulling out the hose and snagging other equipment or furniture was always a pain. Then I came across the C3 19.2v inflator that appeared it might be a much more convenient solution!

Sure enough, it easily keeps our auto tires topped off and provides plenty of air to inflate smaller sport balls and pneumatic tractor tires. The built in digital gauge is accurate and the auto setting shut off is a nice touch. The supplied hose and chuck, although not industrial grade for heavy duty use, provides enough quality to get all of my around-the-house needs done.

As per all of my C3 portable shop\home tools (about 10), this little cordless air compressor is solid quality and a good value. It is easy and convenient for the family to use and when the job calls for a quick shot of cool air, this baby is a nice solution.

Bad Air Chuck
This is a great little tool. Bought it to inflate my wheelchair tires. Worked fine for the first ten or so uses. Then the crappy, poorly designed and constructed, hose end air chuck failed. It would no longer stay attached to the tire valve stem. Sears wants $25 to replace the hose and chuck assembly with what appears to be the same crappy chuck! This is more than half of what I paid for the entire tool! It would be nice if the automatic function would work to about 60 psi or more. I would NOT recommend to a friend unless Sears fixes the chuck design, which is a common item of complaint with other users.

Great Cordless Inflator

This is a great, handy tool to have. It uses the 19.2 volt battery, it has a digital read out of the current pressure of the tire and as you inflate you can watch the pressure go up until you are done. It also has a lock on there so you don't have to hold the button down the whole time. It comes with a bunch of attachments that I don't know what they go to, inflatable toys maybe which I don't have, I just use it for car and tractor tires. Works great!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Bad air chuck indeed

The poorly designed air chuck lasted about one year and then no longer stayed attached to the Valve when filling. And at a reported $25 to replace is a ripoff. Sears needs to do better.

Handy tool

Awesome product love the durability and light weight. The only thing is it cost me $40 great price however no battery with tool. The battery also cost $40 for $80 total... Wish Sears had a comb for both but they don't.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Little Beast

This thing gives you some serious bang for your buck. When you compare it to other D/C inflators, even others that are much larger and non-handheld, this device will impress you. No, its not an AC driven, high CFM motor, so don't judge it like one!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Bad Air Chuck

As many of the other reviewers indicated, good idea, worked for a while, then the air chuck kept popping off. Now the plastic flange holding the air chuck to the hose broke - so tool is unusable. Replacement hose, with shipping, is only $6 less than a new tool with the current sale ($39.95). Won't buy the hose or a new inflator until they improve the design. Not recommended.

Awesome for cyclists!

I have two of these one for home and one to travel with. You need to change the pump head to presta for best results but having it digitally stop and a specific pressure is an awesome feature so your running the pressure you want every time.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great to have around

You don't realize how much you need an inflation device around until you have one. I have used this inflator on everything from car tires to basketballs. Very high quality, easy to use, perfect addition to my C3 line of products. The PSI guage and auto shut off are great features.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Crappy Air Hose Chuck

Mine failed after a year of moderate use. I took the chuck apart and replaced the stretched out rubber grommet with one I made out of a hand pump inflator hose. Works great now! They should offer a replacement grommet for a quarter not a rip off $25 hose.
