This is a really great flashlight to keep around the house. I prefer the flourescent C3 light for working in small spaces, but this is a great flashlight which uses the C3 battery and it lasts a very long time. I have this light on standby for use at night, camping, or during blackouts because the C3 batteries do last quite a long time. It's very bright and I've yet to be disappointed with this flashlight.
I highly recommend adding this light to your arsenal of flashlights around the house. I guarantee that you'll be reaching for this one first.
I've owned the Craftsman C-3 LED High Intensity Flashlight for several months. I remain disappointed by the level of light output compared to other LED lights I've tried.
Worse, when using this flashlight at night, stray light from the top of the reflector housing causes a glare into the user's sight. Not only is this design flaw distracting, it limits what the user is able to see in the illumination field.
The ergonomics of the handle are poorly done... the handle needs to be longer to counter the weight of the battery being in front of the user's hand... we're talking center of gravity stuff here.
On a positive note, I found it useful during a recent weather related power failure. With the Lithium Ion battery installed and the reflector rotated up towards the ceiling, this light will provide a long duration low level illumination of an entire room.
The 19.2 volt Lithium Ion battery deserves a better LED light... Craftsman should go back to the drawing board and re-engineer this product. In comparison, the MagLite 2 D cell LED flashlight will blow this one out of the water where well focused and bright light output are concerned.
If Sears could combine the lighting package of the above MagLite product with their Craftsman Lithium Ion C3 battery... ;- )

This light is compact especially with the 24 WH L ion battery. Seems to last a very long time. It would be nice if you could replace the BULB but when it burns out you must THROW AWAY a $24.95 light...
