C3 3/8 Impact Wrench Add-On

The 3/8-In Impact Wrench is part of the C3 platform. It's compact size allows it to be used in tight spaces under the hood of the car or in hard to reach places. The powerful 19.2-Volt Variable speed motor allows for 0-2,500 RPM no load speeds and provides the power to tighten and loosen various nuts and bolts. The impacting mechanism produces 130 ft-lbs of torque and 0-3,500 impacts per minute to easily drive long screws or lag bolts. This tool has 3/8" socket with pin retention for easy socket connections that stay secure throughout your task, and LED Light to illuminate low light working conditions

 • For your convenience this wrench is compatible with Craftsman C3 platform system of more than 30 tools and powered by Ni-Cd, Lithium-ion or XCP lithium-ion batteries

Overall
C3 3/8-In Impact Wrench

Nice wrench!! Fits well between a 1/4 inch impact and a 1/2 impact. At 130 foot pounds it certainly has power which should be used cautiously. Most people forget that the average small to medium screw or bolt, can be twisted off at 100 foot pounds. Tell your kids, "When it is tight, don't try to tighten it more; unless by hand". Otherwise you will have a screw or bolt head spinning off. But then Sears sells extractor tools for that situation.

Overall
Fits perfectly between the 1/4" and 1/2" C3 impacts

I own both of the 1/4" C3 impact and the 1/2" impact already. I saw this and figured that it would be a good in between the two. It is definitively smaller then the 1/2 and seems to feel about the same as the 1/4", but I haven't put the side by side yet. When compared power wise to the 1/2 the 3/8 doesn't have as much punch as I got to test them side by side on removing the wheels from a Town & Country. The 3/8 struggled a little, but did remove all the lug nuts with little hassle. The 1/2 just blew them right off, no issues. Overall it's great for the tighter spots and I luckily bought a used set of 3/8" impact sockets that work great with this tool.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
