A Cordless Wet/Dry Vac That Works!

One of the most popular tools Sears sells for under $50 is the 2 gallon Shop Vac at Sears.com

In reality the most popular should be the 19.2 C3 Cordless Wet/Dry Vac.  This vac has a lot of features for the price, comes with all the attachments, and is cordless for about the same price.  Just add the 19.2 volt battery from your drill and you are ready to go.
Update: I've really come to using this vac all the time.  It has plenty of suction.  I use it for stairs. I pick it before my big shop vac for cleaning the miter saw, router bench and table saw.
My wife grabs it to clean her stained glass workshop.
Today I used it to clean cobwebs out the the basement rafters,

Features:

Good Suction
Uses 19.2 volt batteries. Will use the 19.2 v diehard NiCads, small 19.2 v C3 lithiums and the high capacity C3 lithium-ions.
Doubles as a 100 mph blower.
Comes with a good assortment of tools including, extension wand, hose, wide nozzle with squeegee, Crevice tool, Car Nozzle, Floor Brush and removable tool storage belt.
It also comes with three dry filters and a foam sleeve for wet pickup.

Everything fits right on the vac using the tool belt. It is lightweight and has plenty of power to clean your car, stairs or pickup wet spills.

It even has a drain plug for emptying liquids.

Summary:

If you have 19.2 volt C3 tools this is a must have to compliment your set.  It is strong, lightweight and easy to use.  I like it especially well for stairs and vehicles.

Does a good job

The Craftsman wet/dry vac does a good job.  I use it mainly for clean up of the shop.  It sucks up saw dust, dirt and small screws very nicely.  It won't out power a corded vac, but it is not suppose to.  If you do purchase this, I would recommend using either the high capacity lithium or the new XCP lithium battery.  The Ni-cad will not last long with this power hungry vac.  I have all three types of batteries, and the XCP lasted the longest with 26 minutes of continuous run.  The high capacity lithium battery lasted 16 minutes of continuous run, and finally the Ni-cad lasted about 10 minutes with depreciable loss in power.

This is a good vac with the right battery.

Has great suck, perfect for garage and car

It uses up battery power but if you have Lithium Ion Batts you will get the job done.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

This is a great cordless shop vac

My son is taking his cordless shop vac with him to his new house. Decided I needed to get one of my own, but some are just way over-priced. I already have the cordless weed-whacker and blower, so batteries are already at my house. Took one of my newly charged lithium batteries and proceeded to attack paint chips, concrete chips and just general dirt on a basement carpet. Not only picked up the loose stuff, pulled the stuck chips right out of the carpet. Ran for about 35 minutes on a newly charged battery. Get a lithium full-size battery, find a job you need to do and have fun. This is a great tool!

Love the portability but lacks power

I love the idea of a cordless wet/dry vac. This is good for cleaning up saw dust from around the shop and for the car. However, this does lack power to pick up the fine dirt in the carpet of the car.

less than adequate sucking power

Only light, small objects are allowed entry into the collection system.  I should of returned it while I had a chance.

Outstanding portable add-on vacuum cleaner

The vacuum cleaner worked great when cleaning up debris in an inconvenient location. The size is perfect and provides enough suction to complete the task.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Craftsman C3 Wet/Dry Vac

So far looks good.  I was surprised you can use it also as a blower.  Suction is a tad on the weak side

C3 wet/dry vac works well

With a LiIon battery this is a very handy little vacuum. With the NiMH battery, I found it rather useless--the battery was always discharged when I went to use the vac after it had been unused for a while. It's easy to carry this vac around with one hand while using the tool with the other. I just bought a second one of these for use around the house. The C3 system in general works well for me, once I discarded the NiMH batteries. Too bad the Li batteries are so expensive, but in my opinion they are what makes this family of cordless tools really useable. The cloth apron kind of gets in the way, and doesn't hold all the tools very well, but so far I've left it in place. It's easy to remove if that seems better. The 1.25" hose is a problem for use in the shop because it plugs up or jams rather easily. Also, the tools don't stay attached very well. Some duck tape helps make a tighter fit. (Yes, it was originally called duck tape because of its waterproof qualities in WW-II. It's not really suitable for ducts.)

I would recommend this product to a friend.
